It's Chase.  In my case, it was because of a fraudulent charge on my card.

Got a call from chase. Getting all those sweet bonuses from all those chase cards has finally caught up to me. They told me I was being reported to the IRS for fraud. I'm packing two suitcases and leaving immediately  if you get a called. Don't answer just pack!!!

Chase fraud investigator.  Unknown charge on my account, they're sending me a new card.

I rec'd a call from this number with a call back number and ext, but when I returned the call I was asked for a passcode. Weird! I called chase and was informed that chase had not called me regarding my accts.

Simmer down people, it's Chase Bank's fraud division to report any suspicious activity or or to talk to you about any unauthorized or disputed charges. It's legit.

Chase Bank. Was a recording to notify me that they are sending me a new card due some fraudulent activity. Any questions that I had I could call the number on the back of my card. Legit. Got my new card a few days ago.

Got 2 calls from Jeff telling me he's from Chase Fraud Protection. He calls from 800-935-9935 but tells me to call him back at 866-682-7130 ext. 6585329. Says his hours are from 6pm-3am. I try calling immediately and get voicemail but don't leave a message. He calls right back and asks for my name, account or card number. I ask why would he need that information if he just called me. He says he can't pull it up with my phone number. I asked why did he call me then. He says he didn't call. Hello... You just now called me and you called 5 minutes ago leaving a voicemail and you don't have my info?!? The funny this is, I have NEVER had an account / card with Chase. Total scam.

Also got a call from "Chase Fraud Division".  The number that came up on the cell was 800-935-9935.  She also called my work number the same day.  I asked her how I could know she was who she said she was and she told me to call the number on the back of my card, which I did.  The real fraud division had not called me.  She left a callback # on my cell of 866-582-7170 x 6585022 (who uses extensions that long?) referencing an AARP Chase Card ending in ****.  I have never had that card.

Got call few mins, called me 1st name, Asian male -PI, heavy accent, recited last 4 digits, says be ready & call back w/ credit #

These scammers got ahold of my cell phone number which greatly irritates me.

I do not now have, nor have I ever had, a Chase Bank account, so this is a scammer hoping to find Chase customers.  Don't fall for it.

Wouldn't it be nice if our elected officials would address all these telemarketer calls?

I had to dispute a charge and it's probably why they're calling me. It's really annoying that they never leave a message. So I see no point in returning a message never left.

They do not leave a message, because some people share a telephone voicemail (significant other). The details are confidential, so they only give those details directly, voice-to-voice. If you call back, they tell you the company name (Chase bank). I suggest that anytime you get a call from someone saying they are your bank (or CC service), say "Bye", disconnect, and call the number on the back of your card. That ensures you won't be tricked. I got this call today, but the caller did mention Chase. I think they may have gotten complaints that Chase was not mentioned, so now they do identify themselves as calling from Chase. I did not call the number from voicemail, but did call the number on the back of my card. They were merely asking if recent purchases were legit, asked me two questions to identify me.

Received a call from unavailable on caller id .phone #8009359935 when Googled is chase. Hi I'm calling for Rob. This is Julie from bank. I'm calling from Chase card services fraud operations department.  I asked why no business name on caller id? Hung up called number on back of card. They told me they didn't call and there was no problem. ANOTHER INDIAN SCAMMER W/ SPOOFED PHONE NUMBER !!!!!

This is a.number for Chase Bank Customer Care. It is a legitimate phone number...

It was chase confirming that my card that was used back in july to buy something i didn't authorize. I guess either the company wanted me to pay or just confirming i not going to have to or something.

Yes this is a Chase number but it is beig spoofed by scammers. I never had any affiliation with Chase. BEWARE!! When you answer they ask for your ssn  to verify your account and I gave them a fake # the woman responded with they were checking activity on my account but all looks fine... BS!!! ITS HOLIDAYS SEASON...WATCHOUT

This IS from Chase Bank. I filed a complaint and asked to speak with a supervisor. A few days before Christmas I attempted to pay for my purchase with my Chase debit card. And, even though I had plenty of money in my checking account, my purchase was denied! I was PISSED! It turns out that the Chase Fraud COMPUTER thought someone else was using my card. The problem was that they didn't contact me until 5:00am THE NEXT MORNING to see if it was really me! I was lucky THIS time cuz the store accepted a personal check from me. If they hadn't taken my check, then my hours of shopping would have been for nothing!! Oh, and that would NOT have been a good thing for Chase!! Grrrrr!!!

They just called my cell 3x in a row.  No message.  A year ago I got a call from Chase - a fraud alert - but it was for someone else's account!!  Apparently my cell number was/is tied into some other dude's account!

Chase call from actual human who left message that she was replying to my "recent inquiry about my account". As I've not inquired about my account, it may have been one of those "courtesy calls", really intended to sell some added feature or protection. Ignored.

My husband got a call from this number supposedly from Chase. The real number may be Chase, but it appears a spammer is making their caller ID look like it is coming from this number because Chase does not have our cell phone number and all of my Chase alerts are via email. Be cautious. Do not give out information.
