- Wireless advocate| 1 replyIf you ever get a call from the 1-800-937-8997, hang up and call the number back. It will correctly direct you to T-Mobile
- Call type: Debt collector
- Customer| 2 repliesJust because it is supposed to be a valid number does not mean that is the actual company that is calling you. Yes, if you google the number it shows up as T-Mobile's customer service. Yes, if you call that number back, you will get T-Mobile's customer service. However, the call that I received displayed T-Mobile's customer service number (a number with which I am familiar) but the caller said that my Bank of America account had been compromised. When I asked why T-Mobile's customer service would care about my Bank of America account (which I do not actually have), he promptly hung up. So yeah, there are some scammers who are disguising their number w/ T-mobile's to get info and people might want to be a little on guard if you're not expecting a real call from t-mobile.
- DThis is no scam. It's T-Mobile. I ordered a replacement phone under warranty. They are just reminding me to return the old phone.

- RookalooIt's T-Mobile. You call this number for everything--customer service, tech support, updating your information, paying you bill, etc. T-Mobile calls you to offer special deals.

- OctaviaI just called the number 1-800-937-8991 a recording came on saying "Lets have a good time" call 1-800-464-8900 its a adult phone conversation site or something related. I'm not going to call the new number and use minutes off my limited phone plan. Best idea is not to answer any 800 incoming calls. If its important they will leave a message if it is not they wont waste their time by leaving one. T-Mobile uses 1-877-746-0909.

- RayI got a call from this number and it said Please Hold and then went into silence, I held for 40 seconds and hang out. Then I googled it is scam call, may bring me extra charge. My question is that Is there anything we could do to fight back to these scammers? Do Not Call doesn't seem to work.

- SubhumanThis is TMobiles Customer Service for sure. It could be regarding collections or anything they need to contact you about. In my case it was to add insurance and switch from Flex Pay to real plan....NOTHING BAD. But, I do not prefer to give my personal info to an incoming call - with that said, I will call them back.

- Giamarisa replies to Mike SThis is actually the FLEXPAY customer service line. Apparently it's different from the regular customer care. It sounds like the same Indian person and there's a woman and a man. They do not know anything exceot what is on their computer screen. And do not know English well. I asked several times are you the billing dept. She evaded me so I kept asking and she finally said no they are FLEXPAY and there is no billing dept. in Flexpay.
