They called me twice and I did not answer.  I called back and someone said "hello".  When I stated that someone had called me from this number they immediately addressed me by name and spouted of the last four digits of a Visa debit card number I recently cancelled (due to another type of scam).  I had to interrupt the rude person talking to say that I did not have a Visa.  Of course, as soon as I did they hung up and have not called back. They spoke so fast I did not catch the name of the company.

Tried back again twice.  First time someone stated "I think they are calling back now".  Second time they hung up a second after answering.

    Financial Education of America )www.financialeducationofamerica.com)
Like the rest of us, I too get calls from these people.  I called them back and the guy answered "Financial Education of America" .  If you go to their website, it shows the same offer they peddle on the phone.  Basically telemarketing.

Been called by this number(1-800-941-0362)several times. I called them back and asked them nicely to stop calling my phone and letting them know that  I'm not interested on whatever they are offering. The person that picked up the phone said, " She will stop the call and also said sorry for any convience that caused me" And I hanged up. Hope This will help.

A person named Renee called and said that I was listed as a valued customaer and I could get all of these promotions for free and I would just let them send me information on a program that I wasn't obligated to purchase. They had the last 4 digits of my credit card number and, what I thought was interesting, was that they knew my address only as I had entered it on a website I payed to join. I used "anywhere street" as the owner had instructed so that I wouldn't get offers by mail and that is what this woman used as my address. That is when I got suspicious, looked online, and saw that other people had complaints about calls from this number.

These companies that are doing this get the information from various retailers online that let 3rd parties handle their credit card transactions. They in turn sell it to the telemarketers for 90 cents each. I made a purchase from office Depot and had never given out this particular number. I then began to receive the calls. Tonight I used my Viatalk Call broadcast to send several hundred calls back to them with a recording informing them to stop calling or the calls would continue at the rate of several hundred per hour. I immediately got a call back with an apology and the information on how they operate as well as the companies they get the info from.

I use my grandcentral.com number to abstract my real number when I need to give out a telephone number. I have received two calls from this number this morning so far. The only thing I can recall using this number recently is a purchase from wheelworld.com (online bicycle retailer) and comfortinn.com (the hotel chain).

I called this number back because I had 7 missed calls from them today (800-941-0362). I called to see who they were and to have my number removed from their calling list. I spoke with a man and explained to him (very politely) that I was not interested in his promotions and he hung up on me before I could ask him to take me off the calling list. Real nice people.

They continue to call my cell phone (910-494-0126) they say that because of my credit card and good standing with other people that I have used my credit card at they would like to offer me something.  I have since quit using my credit card to purchase anything because of the unwanted calls.  How do I get them to stop?

It is the Financial Services of America.  I called repeated and they picked up and said the last 4 of a card number (it was correct, although it's a debit card) and said because I'm a valued customer they were going to send me a Wal-mart gift card for $100, all kinds of other stuff from education to stock market and when I asked again how they got my card number they said a different last 4 of a card (not one of mine).  This place is a scam and I plan to find out how to shut them down.

Wow. I just called this idiots back, and come to find out they have all my information. Card number, phone number, address, everything.  They offered me a whole list of completely different things for free this time, as long as they could charge my card $3.95.  They said they got my number from one of their "marketing partners".  But won't stop talking long enough to get a word in edgewise, and if you say anything they don't like, they just hang up on you. Beware people.

I just got done filing a complaint with the FCC against these guys thanks to another post in this list.  They have called me multiple times and nobody is on the other end.  They have also called using this number 1-866-435-1119, which I included in the complaint. Wow, while I was typing this I got another call and somebody answered this time.  They asked for me by my first name and I asked who was calling. They hung up of course.  There is a special place in hell for these guys.

Just following up on my original post - They called again and started in on the sales speech, telling me the last 4 digits of my card and I interrupted the guy (William) to tell him that I had reported them to the FCC.  He said 'What?' and he hung up before I could finish repeating myself. I've gone all day without a call from them.  So, just tell them what I did and the calls will stop.  Oh, and go ahead and file the report too.  Stop these guys from annoying other people.
