- Reply replies to billWow thats strange a business called you and it sounded like an office in the background. Thats really weird
- Reply replies to me too| 1 replyGreat record keeping!! Here is an idea, why dont you call the business and ask nicely to be removed from there systems. It really works and while you are at it, pick up a life for yourself
- Golfer 2 replies to golferYou are really pathetic to think that this company is going out of its way to harass someone who is quite obviously insignificant. Im sure you had a bad childhood and the world is out to get you. For someone who expresses that they dont have the time to deal with these calls you certainly have spent enough time posting on here. My suggestion is that you call them back and ask them if they are selling any good personalities because you are in desperate need of one.
- Answer replies to AngieAngie just give them a call and be nice and express to them your concerns. They were very nice to me
- Answer replies to angieJudging from your complaint, they more than likely are speaking to you, your just too stupid to understand them
- Readers replies to ec| 2 repliesBe careful taking the advice of an idiot. You may find that they are within there rights and you are left paying attorneys fees and court costs because you listened some [***] person posting blogs
- Answering Chris replies to chrisJust call them and ask them to please remove your number from the system they will do it.
- Scary replies to AnonymousIts frightening to think that there are police officers out there protecting us that are as obviously as ignorant as you. God Help Us All
- REply replies to Susanthey are using your free minutes? so you are getting angry about your free minutes!! Damn you are stupid
- Constant phone calls here as well| 2 repliesI keep getting phone calls from them as well. What is worse is that it is on my cell phone, often several times a day. Not too hard to guess that all the negative comments on people using this blog to talk about the problem come from the same source as our shared annoyance.
Keep filing your complains with the FCC. It is easy:
You may use the FCC Form 1088 to complain about: Telemarketing issues, i.e., (1) junk faxes, (2) telemarketing (including Do-Not-Call violations), and (3) other issues, such as pre-recorded telephone messages, automatic telephone dialing systems, and unsolicited commercial e-mail messages to cell phones, pagers, and other wireless telecommunications devices. If you provide enough information to indicate a potential violation of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended, or the FCC’s rules, the FCC will use your complaint to pursue enforcement action against the violators. This enforcement action could include forfeitures.
For those getting calls please do as I did and file a Form 1088:
https://esupport.fcc.gov/form1088/consumer.do
I fully expect that an American No Debt shill to write some offending comments, but it only re-enforces the perception of the lack of legitimacy of the service and the need to keep filing the reports.- Caller: America No Debt

- Chris S replies to AnswerI got the call - promising a 100 dollar walmart certificate and 350 dollars in gas rebates. it sounded like they'd send something to me to review and I had to cancel within 10 days or else they would start charging my credit card. They made it sound like I was a "preferred customer" from using my cc often - but it started sounding shady with all of these deals and then they were speaking of revolving monthly charges if I don't cancel. I told them to send the package thinking I would just cancel it when I got it, but then realized that it would probably take more than the 10 days to get here (they say 5 to 7) before you can cancel without any penalties.
I called the number back to see if I could cancel and where they got my information. They would not tell me anything other than "We got it from one of our thousands of business partners. You must've purchased something from the internet" - but they would not list any of their business partner names. I told them I was promised gift cards and packages and that I would prefer to have them canceled now and asked how they got my number. The rep wouldn't say and said that his system shows I hadn't ordered anything yet, so there was nothing left to cancel and also that they were having problems and had LOST their do-not-call list and apologized for harassing me saying that they'd remove my number immediately.
The only reason I did answer this call was that my credit card company had called to verify charges in the past - and I thought it was this number - I guess they had been aware that their patrons' numbers may be in jeopardy.
I'm going to call my credit card company now to discuss this and see if they want to cancel my current card and issue a new one or just block all charges from that company.
They said they got my number from one of their internet associates - they say they have "thousands" of them, so they would not give me the source of where they got my information. - irritated with stupidity replies to calling the cops| 2 repliesI'm sure that wouldn't be the only way you could figure out to waste taxpayers dollars. Answer your phone and tell them you are not interested you wuss
- Jonathan replies to FED UP| 2 repliesI'll bet they are rude to you because you call there with a nasty attitude. Remember the person calling you is just a normal person trying to do a job and has no idea how you personally feel. Think about someone other than yourself for minute.
- Ashamed of this message board replies to Constant phone calls here as well| 1 replyWell I just logged on here to find out who it was calling me. Some of the posts on here are very petty, rude and hateful. It just proves that prejudice and hate is not limited to the ignorant. Being articulate does not make you a good person. It realy looks like alot of the people post on here not because of calls but because of thier own lives.
- EarlSame as most. Phone rings. No one there. Company is something like Financial Education of America. Call back and tell them to remove your number.

- pairandspareFor the last few days I"ve had a phone call maybe 2x day said "unavailable" but w/the # called from. One time I answered & they knew my name & said they were calling regarding my Mastercard account & b/c I was such a great customer & they want to offer me $300 worth of gift cards for something & all I had to do was pay was the $2 shipping for the whatever it was they wanted to send me & give them my address. I immediately said "Well, if you all have enough of a budget to spend $300 on me, how can you not afford to pay for the shipping too? And if I'm such a good customer, don't I deserve to have free $2 shipping too? I smell scam" and THEY hung up before I did!
Then I began to google the phone #, came across this board. I called them back & on the 1st ring some woman answered right away with my 1st name. Did not identify the company or her name like most professionals do. I asked her what business she is representing and working for & she said Financial Education of America" ( which had nothing to do with the Mastercard call even though it was the same number). Then after reading some of the posts here, I then called back 1/2 hour later....THIS TIME blocking my # from showing up. I said "I need to speak with Frank Liz right away please." & they told me to call a different number ( 1-866-663-3288). I googled THAT new number & it came up as "Financial Education of Am". So I blocked my number & called THAT number & what do you know...the very same voice answered the phone. It's the same call center, just different numbers. I'm definitely on the alert now. From now on when they call, I'm going to throw them off & when they say "XXXX" ( my name) I'm going to say "Who?? No you have the wrong number. This is Jackie" ( or something)- Caller: 2 different names!
- 1truewitchI got a call from these fools today and my boyfriend answered the phone. He told them I wasn't home and they hung up on him. I called the number back as it showed up on my caller id and the rude person on the other end said that I would have to call back and unblock my number so it would show up on their end before they could talk to me regarding what the call was about. He hung up before I could tell him to bite me. Who do these people think they are. There is a reason I have my number unlisted and where the hell did they get it????? I want answers and if they have the balls to call back I am going to ask for answers, you better believe it! I dislike dishonesty and bull* from this type of nonsense and just don't have the time or patience for it. These are criminals as far as I am concerned.

- Someone who knows the systemDear Frank...er..Ashamed,
It is pretty clear you come to this site to attempt to discourage those who are subject to your phone calls to take action. You insult and attempt to cajole those who catalog the harrassment, when someone mentions legal remedies you discourage others to take the route and when someone suggest administrative remedies, such as the FCC, you question their personal reasons for coming here and sharing ways to ensure you cannot continue with what is clearly bad behavior. I realize your livelihood is threatened when your bad behavior is exposed and proper action is taken by the relevant competent authorities. Perhaps you should find a new line of work which falls within the confines of the federal statutes and regulations, does not involve deception of your true identity or provide a service that is clearly NOT a scam.- Caller: Financial Education of America
