Another credit card rate reduction scam from "Card Member Services". I hate these people so very much and I hate that no one in the US cares. The Feds, the States, the phone company, the credit card companies, no one is doing anything to stop these scams and harassers. Page 1 for this number goes back to 2007. 2007!!!! Over a decade of this and it won't stop.

This has apparently been ongoing for years. Look on other sites today, and this is labeled as "severe".
Some say it is "Chase credit" but Nomorobo has it right: "Debt reduction scam". I got this robocall saying they've been trying unsuccessfully to reach me but as a courtesy, here's my last chance to lower my interest rate, press 1...

Problem is, I don't have any debt with Chase... AND, I called Chase security to confirm that this number is not their and is a known scam, suggesting I block the #. Will do. And reporting to CFPB complaints / Do Not Call list violations, as you should too if you've gotten this slime and you're registered:

This number actully appeared on my credit report so I was fooled. With a balance and a payment history!!!

called and automatically got redirected to scam bucket.  CID already marked SPAM? by phone company but otherwise read "CHASE CAR".   Online recordings indicate this is a spoof of Chase with a credit card interest rate scam and is a severe robocaller

I just got a call from a scammer telling me that he was verifying a $695 purchase on my card. He wanted me to give him the card number, so he could verify that I was the card owner. RIGHT!!!!!!!

Why even up here on Talos 4 we get calls pretending to be Chase card/member services.

Says JP Chase Morgan on caller ID.... but the recorded message is talking that trash about several calls made to you in an effort to lower your interest rate.... TRASH

Fake CID - spoofed number - credit card rate/debt reduction scam. You know if you look back at page 1 this scam has been going on for 14+ years!! That's insane. Also, we're 5-ish days into the STIR/SHAKEN requirement and I'm still getting just as many scam/fraud calls. They aren't being blocked and they aren't even being marked by the phone company as fake. Incredibly disappointing.

Offered a free ED pill. Now we have this to look forward to, WTF. Maybe you should merge and give it away with your lower your interest rate scam.

Received 2 calls a minute apart. Sounded like a bunch of people standing around yammering. It was unintelligible, could not understand what they were saying.

Knew it was scam before I picked up.  I wanted to see how long I could prank him before he could on. Only a few minutes. Just enough time for him to start cursing and me to start laughing as loud as I could. Before I ended the call, I blasted a whistle into the phone.

2 calls that sounded like a call center left no message just a bunch of gibberish on the voicemail.

no it is not Chase - it is a fake number

Someone called pretending they were Chase and were trying to get me to get a loan to pay off my credit card. They were trying to scam me.

Received a call today, September 23 2021 5:30 pm. Seems this scam is being resurrected. Said Chase Card Services on my phone ID for caller. They didn't state what bank they were from just started in stating I was loosing my lower credit rating and transferred my call. It didn't make sense and when I started asking questions the line went silent.
