They call every 5 minutes scam artists

They have been calling me everyday, 5 to 6 times a day. The first time they left a voicemail. I didn’t return the call.  I don’t pick up when they call, they don’t leave a voicemail either. Even when I block the number they call me with a different number. They are desperate. If it’s Macy’s they will leave a voicemail or even mail me, but I haven’t gotten anything from them.

Iʻve been avoiding answering calls from this number for weeks now. They call several times a day and never leave a voicemail. I am definitely think they are phishing or this is a scam.

This number calls every 3-4 hours - I never have and never will answer.  Huge Annoyance!

Got a call from this number on 8/27 and again today.  The first one I could hardly understand the woman and then today by some guy.  Both times I said I do not take calls from people saying they are calling "on behalf of" Macys.  Now I know to tell them I am going to call Macy's.  Never let them get as far as telling me why they were calling.

This number is scammed number, they call me totally 12 times since Saturday 9/14/2019 . They told me I missed payment of my Victoria’s Secret, n they want me to give them my new update of my checking account. Founded out I didn’t own any pennies  balance from Victoria’s Secret

Called back on a VPN line and they claim to be Macy's and when you say you don't have card, it keeps repeating until they ask for your full ss#, which Macy's would not do.

This is Macy's collection, could be a third party contracted with Macy's but it's legit Macy's.  Every caller has been very rude and aggressive.  I've historically been on-time with all my payments, yet they call weeks before any payments are due demanding immediate payment.

Yes it is some 3rd party collection agency from Macy’s. They have called me 3 times in the last day asking me to verify my identity before they proceed. Well I’m not verifying crap when they are the ones that called me, so they won’t give me any info. I know I am 4 days late on my Macy’s card.......big deal. They can’t even report it until it is over 30 days, so they are virtually waisting time and money for a call center......collection calls that aren’t even in collections yet. They really need to get a life. My bills get paid either way, I’ll pay them on my time, not theirs.

Caller was a male with a heavy black voice.  Said I owed Macy's/American Express $99.
I called him a liar and scammer and hung up.

Call daily. No message. If it is  Macy's they should not have this number. All our phones are on the Do Not Call list for over 15 years.

This number has called me numerous times in the last couple of days. I never shop at macys so I definitely don't have a cars or account with them. Haven't answered any of their calls.

THIS IS A SCAM!!’ Do not provide any information to these dirtbags!!! It’s NOT Macy’s. I’ve been very late paying my Macy’s bill in the past & they DO NOT CALL!!!
Please block this number! They will deceive you into providing personal info. They often spoof Macy’s number, so it appears Macy’s is calling you....but it’s a scam!!

Thanks to everyone! I had 4 missed calls and no messages. I read your messages and went to My Macy’s account. I had a payment due 11/12 but hadn’t received bill due to move. Seems silly for 3 day late bill but it was thousands for furniture. Now to contest the late fees. :/

This number is a complete scam looking to get your ss# or other personal information. They have called my number 14 times in the last three days but left no message. Just now they finally left a hiccupped robo-message where they asked for a "Lisa B. Goodrich" to return the call. THAT IS NOT MY NAME, but two weeks ago I did place an order from Macy's which was legitimately put on my Macy's credit card. It was the first time I've used my Macy's card in over a year. Although they are NOT connected with Macy's, Amex, or any other legit credit card, they obviously have a way to steal phone numbers (but not the associated names) off those accounts. I called Macy's about this lawbreaker. They are on the case. In sum, these calls from (800) 947-6229 are nasty scammers looking to rip you off. DO NOT ANSWER, DO NOT SPEAK TO THEM, AND MOST CERTAINLY DON'T GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION!!!
