received a voice mail today from an "inspector" donnaldson who states that they are looking for someone I used to work with...only way that they would even know that I used to work with them is if they are on Facebook.  Advised that I had no way of getting in contact with said person and then asked how my number was located as it is unlisted AND unpublished.   I was told that they have "MEANS" of gettin ginformation.  I asked that they not call again.  States that they will not...we shall see.

I did call back, left a message for the extension and called back again to ask the operator that transferred me the name of the business, when i asked what kind of business, she stuttered and said she didn't know that she just answered the phones..so this leaves me to believe that this company either doesnt' want you to know who you are calling or hires some real dumb [***] that don't know what kind of company they work for.

What exactly do you want?  What did you get?  Do you guys have a quota of how many people to contact in order to get paid?  That would appear to be the only thing you are getting.  Reading some of the other comments, it also appears you and your company are harassing people.

They do not need your facebook for your past jobs. All it takes is a call here, a file there. Maybe you should have paid your car note on time instead of trying to hide. ;)

Called left a message that they were investigating a case that I could help with.  Left number. Tina Randall was the lady who left message.

Rachel Burns, private investigator, called stating they were looking for info on a man I have never heard of!  She did not say what company she was calling from, but left the number of 800-972-0776 x239, and also a case #. She asked me to call her back asap!  Of course I, not knowing the name of the person she was looking for, hopped online and this site is what I found.  I won't be calling back!

Shady caller regarding a lawsuit to be filed and wanted information to contact family member.

Patsy Clark from Dunn, Johnston, & Brown called representing herself as an Investigator.  She has called my family members, neighbors and anyone else she has been able to find via public records search.  She will not provide case information or general information.

It is legal to call yourself an investigator but not a police investigator.  I have not worked with this company but have been in the industry for 10 years.  I would never harass or divulge information to family or friends.  BUT I have contacted family and friends in hopes of actually getting in touch with a debtor.  Leaving a message here and there to pass along to said person is sometimes the only way to get in touch with them.  If you stay in touch with your financial institution when you fall behind on payments more than likely it will not get to this point.  Something as simple as updating new phone numbers and addresses can help avoid a lot of this.  
Just make sure you keep the verse "Do unto others as you would have others do unto you" in your mind at all times and it usually gets resolved quite fast.  You do catch more flies with honey you know!
The only other thing I want to say is this...some of the people that are being looked for are fraud cases or professional debtors.  These are not the normal "get in touch with them and work it out" type situations.  These are people who have stolen their grandfathers ss# or the poor little old lady who thought she was giving out her inforamtion for a charity.  They are also the ones that go into a bank for a loan that they know they will never pay for.  They will skip (run) as soon as the papers are signed.  These are the criminals that hurt us ALL.  They need to be stopped.  Granted, their families do not deserve to be harassed or bullied, but they might be the only link to finding these debtors who prey on the innocent.  Those are the cases that I do not feel bad about tracking down for their collateral! To see the look of relief on an 82 year old face once you have put an end to their nightmare of a vehicle being fraudulently purchased using their information is most gratifying! To catch that person and then hand the same inforamtion you found over to the police and knowing you have stopped them (for now) from preying on someone else is a great feeling!!! :)

call wasnt even about me it concered my brother. they told me "they'd find me" they said they were detectives and that my grandfathers house would " be under watch "until they found me" my biggest issue is this my husband talked to them.hes done most of the last 20 years in prison if someone actually follows me or my daughter and he perceives any type of threat he will probally kill them.

I received a call from Ann Donaldson, 800-972-0776 asking for someone that I know. She found my name and number on the internet through an organization that I am affiliated with. How can I get these people off my back. She said she was looking for a friend and gave me a number to call xt. 255.  Said that my colleague had a settlement that she wanted to close on the case.

i was contacted by them today. and they are not a collections firm or an pi firm either. the people there are very friendly and are willing to work with you

I recieved several calls from a person by the name of Investigator ashley turner trying to reach my husband on a skip trace. can't they find their own people????
