This number has been calling my office multiple times for days now. Every time we answer, the caller immediately hangs up. We don't do any business with Wells Fargo (which is how the call appears on the caller ID).

I just received the call as well and I have never done business with that lame bank. So Who's the moron now? Why dont you try paying you bills on time?

they would leave a message and return number if it goes unanswered, none have done so and then i get an unavailable, which i never answer and they leave no message. i don't answer numbers unknown to me, go to vm and i call back. these have been repetitive within minutes and no messages.

they will just stop calling.  loan will be paid. then they wont know what to do

I don't have, never have had an account or loan with Wells Fargo. I do not have a late bill or loan. I have had 11 calls from this number in 2 days; they've yet to leave a voicemail.

I keep getting a call from 800-988-8019 almost everyday with no message.  I will not pick up.  Most creditors leave a message.

These sub-humans called my unlisted land line six times today.  I never answered, they never left a message.  Any company who has legitimate business to discuss leaves a message, and I call back immediately.  I so wish we could put all these scammers out of business!

This is WF Collections CC calling. I do have a WF CC and missed the payment due date which generated a call from WF Collections. So to Cindy & Tom, FU for trying to confuse people with your trolling. Maybe former WF employees?

Called two times, person with an accent asked for someone with a middle eastern name. I tried to get information from them, they repeatedly kept saying it was personal. Would not provide any information to me other than they were Wells Fargo.

Called one of our business roll over lines and hung up when we answered. We do not have any Wells Fargo bank accounts or credit cards. CID only said TOLL FREE.

My ex called saying Wells Fargo credit card was looking for me on 1-9-2017. Ex did not give caller my #. I asked ex what # appeared on caller id.  I called # and person with heavy Indian accent tried telling me I am delinquent. I could hardly understand so asked to be directed to someone in USA or someone with a lighter accent. Instead got the recording all over from start of call. I hung up and called 4 different local branches and no one answered at any! Today I finally got a chance to go to a branch 1-19-2017 and told branch manager what happened. He took my information. I expressed that i got my credit card after divorce so my ex is not tied to card so why was he getting calls about me and that it is in violation of credit collections rules. Clearly someone did some skipping/research to try to find a relative associated to me to see if they could get information about me. He did not know if it is fraudulent call. He looked up my account and did not see any problems.
So folks my advice is if you get calls from this number, hang up and call the # listed on your card
