- Tired of No ID replies to NotnecessaryThen Tell Wells Fargo NOT to hide their phone number from our caller ID! So many scammers ARE out there hiding their number from potential victims that it's IMPOSSIBLE to tell who's legit, and who' phishing. If I had an account w/WF that was late I'd want to know it was THEM!
- Brandy DuncanIf this IS Wells Fargo, then they are unprofessional with their harassing phone calls and are not establishing trust with the intended receiver. I receive frequent calls at inappropriate times... and SERIOUSLY?... Enter my card number when I return a call? This is not a way to gain trust in the current suspicious state that we are required to maintain in order to protect what belongs to us. I do not think that there is a problem with my account. However, I WILL be contacting Wells Fargo utilizing their "OFFICIAL" phone number, and ensure my account is in good standing. DO NOT CALL ME FROM THIS NUMBER.... I WILL NOT ANSWER! TRUTH OR NOT, I do not TRUST that this number is affiliated with Wells Fargo because the level of unprofessionalism does not correlate with my past experiences with this company!
- Caller: Questionable? "Wells Fargo"
- Lilly replies to RyanIt IS a scam. They called me telling me my credit card was over due and I need to make a payment over the phone. I have NEVER had any sort of account with Wells Fargo. Ever.
- PC Tech DudeReceived four calls from this number yesterday 4/28. Received one this morning. Added this number to my call blocking list. I used *67 to block my caller id info and tried to call the number back to find out who / what company this is. First time, a male voice (sounded Filipino) said "Your call has been routed to Verizon please hang up and try again." The background sounded like a call center. I tried again, second time a female voice (again Filipino) said same message
- GlenODIt is Wells Fargo. I have never had an account with them but they looked up my phone number in their system. They actually were looking for a family member that does not live with me. I told them this info and they said they would take my number out of their system. We shall see.
- Caller: Wells Fargo

- PatThis is not a scam. This phone number belongs to Wells Fargo and if they call you it's because you have missed a payment. Now, if you have no account with Wells Fargo then simply answer the phone or call them back and let them know. Then they'll stop calling you. If you do have an account with Wells Fargo and you have missed a payment, they will (of course) keep calling you until you either pay them or call them back.
- Caller: Wells Fargo

- Dan| 1 replyIt is Wells Fargo's collection dept they are pushy and want all info, but so does the bank in fact WF asks acct nmbr social sec and now they even ask for your pin before talking to you. Their collection dept is most likely a subcontractor WF pays which explains why they're not helpful or care if you close all ypur accts they just want ypur permission to transfer from your ckecking acct to make payment DON'T DO IT THEY WILL CONTINUE PAYING THEMSELVES FROM THEN ON EVEN THOUGH THEY CLAIM ITS JUST THIS ONE TIME! So the number is affiliated with WF.... Just their [***] office which you don't have to go through anyway..... :-*

- same dude replies to DanForgot to say they also call several times a day and don't ever leave a message which is illegal and considered harassment. Best way to deal with them tell them you'll give your social but first please give me yours... that's not a problem is it? It's just for security reasons I'm sure you understand in your position
- Maine GirlI was receiving several calls a day from this number. I called them. When I was asked for my account number I dialed "0" and was connected with a customer service rep. I told him my situation, and as it turned out they were looking for someone who had the number before me. It's not a scam, but it can be annoying. They will take your number off their list if you are willing to take a moment or two to call them and explain the situation.

- PatI have just contacted Wells Fargo and they are NOT associated with this number! The caller ID says Unknown Name. I was informed that if it came from Wells Fargo, the caller ID would say Wells Fargo. Have tried blocking this number, but it still gets through. It calls me numerous times during the day and evening. Am going to report this number to the Federal Trade Commission.
- investigative one replies to RyanThis didn't help me.........I have no credit card account & they called me, sooooooooooooooo!
- DJ replies to NAI noticed your use of the word income. If you are referring to income from work, then you have no income as defined as taxable income. If you have derivatives, you have an income. If you have interest income, fringe benefits, income from renting out, Annuities, pensions, alimony, dividends, Life insurance income, commissions, income from an interest in an estate, royalties and such, you have taxable income. Any money you earn from your work is not included as taxable income. When you file your W-4 for withholding, you are volunteering to donate some of your earnings as tax. The IRS recommends that citizens check there withholding status every year. They almost tell you straight out that wage "income" is not taxable and is based strictly on voluntary compliance. Also, only commercial vehicles must obey speed signs. All others have to avoid accidents and to not cause an accident; that's your strict obligation. If you state to an officer that you UNDERSTAND that the law applies to you even without a commercial drivers license, you will have agreed by contract to assume to be guilty. So even though a school bus is not allowed to drive over 50 mph in an area "posted" as 55, you can. If you are involved with an accident and speed is a factor, it doesn't matter just what speed you were traveling at; you were driving too fast for conditions. With a non-commercial license, you cannot drive at any speed that causes or does not prevent an accident; that's your obligation under the law.
- Kevin replies to MikeThis has to be a scam; I never had a Wells Fargo Account
- KrisThis number is calling me non stop and when I did pick up there's no response. I just want them to stop calling. I don't pick up anymore
- Caller: Wells
- Call type: Debt collector
- ScamI do not have any loan accounts with wells Fargo only a checking account. They keep calling I don't answer.
- Anonymous replies to RyanYou're probably in on the scam, so of course your going to put a positive post. No one should ever give out personal info. to someone over the phone.
- Willow replies to Lokei| 1 replyVery true. However, the best and easiest way to verify whether this is or is not a Wells Fargo number is to go to the Wells Fargo website and call the number listed under their contact information. If it is a Wells Fargo number, they will have record of it.
- DaveRyan is an idiot - they call a cell phone number that is business phone and call and call and call - so they dont even know who they are calling. and it isnt phishing? Your an idiot!
- Some of you people are just dumbWells Fargo calling about a late payment. Not a scam. If you don't have an account with Wells Fargo, it is reasonable to assume that whatever customer did provide a number provided a false one on their records that coincidentally matched yours as a way to avoid these calls.
Take a pill. Not everything is as scam.- Caller: Wells Fargo
