- Caller: did not get a call
- BeckyI am glad I visited this website since I found out that I'm not the only one being scammed by this company. After repeated phone calls and holding on the line, noone answered there phone. I have called my bank, cancelled my debit card and will be reporting this agency to the Better Business Bureau in Minnesota and will also be disputing the charges. I have tracked down the business they are supposedly charging us for (a home savings card) and they have said they are being fraudently represented by Easy Debt. My email address and card information was tracked from an order to another company. Please report this fraudelent activity to your bank, your state's Better Business Bureau and maybe your state Attorney General. This needs to be stopped!!!!

- mary ann barone replies to mary| 6 repliesReceived credit card statement yesterday, also charged $29.95...Debt Eater... calling credit card today. Have no idea what this is!!!
Mary Ann - SherryI also rec'd a charge on my account from Debt Eater for $29.95, never heard of them. I went to my bank to dispute. I think my account info was given to them or they stole it when I ordered Acai A-Slim from the internet because that is the only thing I have ordered. Beware!!!
- sherry| 2 repliesI did reach someone named "Tyson" at Debt Eaters and when I told him I turned this charge over to the fraud department at my bank, he said they do get the account info and charge your account when you order something else. He said it is an online Finance Tool. I informed him I never agreed to this and never signed up for this so he said he will cancel my account and refund my money and I should have it back in my account within 10-12 business days so we will see. He states on some of the websites it states you will be signed up for Debt Eaters, but it is not on the website I used. This is just fraud.
- TONII was also charged 29.95 on my card called the number and was never able to get through. They are out of Salt Lake City Utah.

- Toni| 1 replyAfter spending 20 min waiting for a customer service rep. I got thru to a gentleman named Anthony he could not find my account under my name but could bring it up under my phone number. They said that I must have gotten signed up when I ordered a slimming product. There is a check box the need to be unchecked. So if you have and account with ACAI products you might want to call them they get you signed up for all sorts of stuff you don't want. I tried there product for 10 days and cancelled. Anthony said that I would be credited back within 3-5 days after I told him I was on the phone with the credit card company and they were willing to push the matter.
He did give me a conformation. - Toni replies to Jen| 1 replyAfter spending 20 min waiting for a customer service rep. - erinHow do you stop these people from taking money from your account???

- Nicky replies to Lou Brown| 3 repliesIf anyone finds anything about this Debt Eater, please post it. My credit card was 37$. Tried reaching them to cancel but found that impossible. In addition, apparently it is an American organization. I am Canadian and I definitely want nothing to do with them...
- CarolI signed up for a free vitamin sample for .01 cent called ACAI NONI. After I got the pills I was charged $82 by Regnet.com. After that I was charged 29.95 from debt eaters AKA leadsourcesolutions.com. Same account was charged so they had to be the same scam guy. Regnet refunded my $82, we will see! No answer at the 800 number just music! Canceled my debit card and wonder how they get away with this?

- VickieSame $29.95 to my debit card. Card canceled. disputing charges.
- jayme| 3 repliesI also got a charge for 29.95 on 1/16. Obviously, never approved this transaction...never even heard of Debt Eaters! Called fraud dept. of cc and disputing charge. BUT...I did order a "free trial, just pay shipping" product called Lift sp. I cancelled my "free" order once I read online that Lift sp was a scam. Apparently they start billing you monthly w/o sending product. When I called, I actually got a live person and a confirmation # of my cancellation. They said that they already sent my "free trial" but would not be charged anything else. These companies have to be linked. What kills me is I got my "free trial" and it actually works really well! How jacked up is that?! Hopefully this won't reoccurring problem!
- smchris replies to jayme| 1 replyOK, it's coming together. My wife also ordered from LiftSP.
We're a couple older people here with attitude and some time and I really think this should be called to the attention of the respective state Attorney Generals of our states. Here are the issues:
1. My AG's office didn't think there has been a test case on "opt-out" yet
2. A person is assumed to be of sound mind and responsible for the goods they contract for unless legally declared otherwise.
So these scammers are riding a thin crest of "not-illegality". But does the analogy of two people sitting around a table reading a contract hold? I don't think so. Let me give an analogy that I think is more appropriate:
You are at a grocery checkout. You don't notice the bag boy slip a $10,000 diamond necklace into one of your bags. You sign the credit slip also not noticing that the checker has included on the slip a contract to pay $500/month at the highest possible interest until the necklace is paid off. When you get home, you discover the necklace and when you call the grocery store, they say, "Well, didn't you notice the bag boy slip it into your bag? Didn't you read your entire grocery order before you signed for it because the checker put it in there plain as day."
In the real world, that would be insane -- but in the online world there apparently hasn't been regulation. This is clearly fraud in practice. There should be a test case to codify that it is fraud in law. Please feel free to use my analogy in your own discussions with officials.
My wife has no record of her transaction, and, interestingly, there was no email confirming "her" debt eater subscription. What would be very valuable, if someone thinks they know where the opt-out appears, would be to go to that point in an order and save a screenshot so that they can give us the exact wording of what the opt-out commits a person to with Debt Eater.
Oh, and normally a computer savvy person can run a "whois" to see who a web site is registered to and whom they can contact. Leadsourcesolutionsdebt.com (Debt Eater) is hiding behind a company called DomainsbyProxy.com that hides their identity without a subpoena. Obviously, another good reason for anyone who hasn't been taken yet to stay far away from them. - Mary Beth| 1 replyMy account was also debited for 29.95. I called them and got through. They said they would stop any future payments and the customer service rep I spoke with said she would put in a request for a refund. I also asked how in the world they got my bank account number. She said it is in conjunction with skin care, health care, or weight loss products that were purchased on-line. When filling out the information, in my case the bank acct info for the shipping and handling, there is a question that you have to answer no to not be charged this.

- D from PA replies to Mary BethI too got the 29.95 charge and am currently on the phone with Tyson. He said he is going to reverse the charge and cancel my account. Unfortunately I tried a trial of AcaiBurn as well as LiftSP, so I'm afraid this isn't over yet! :o(
- Loly replies to JenIt happened to me as well. The date was 1/13 billed on 1/14, no idea what I might have bought for exactly 29.95 on a Tuesday no less.
I called but they were closed, so I'll try again tomorrow, in the meantime, I think I'll change my account. - Loly replies to ToniHave you been credited?
