I called the number and spoke to lady named Amy. The company is EZ Grant Pro and the $29.95 charge came from a goverment grant cd i ordered. It was a free trial and i paid for the shipping and handling. Anyways it is a link connected with it and you have to READ everything because it is in there. Apparently i did not but i did speak to someone and it is being credited to my account and i have a comfirmation #. It will take 6-8 business days.

I got charged for the amount of $29.95 like many people who complained here. On my credit card statement, it says Debt Eater 4     801-4566000. Different number, but I believe it's the same company based in UT. The charge appears to have occurred the day after I got charged for Acai Berry product. I found another complaint about Debt Eater and Acai Berry being connected. I haven't contacted my credit card company YET, but I will do so. Besides that, what all we can do is file a complaint with Internet Crime Complaint Center <http://www.ic3.gov/complaint/default.aspx>. It is co-sponsored by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the National White Collar Crime Center. Since so many people got ripped off, I'm sure they wil take case seriously. And let's hope they, whoever they are, will be brought to justice.

Yet another victim. I purchased the trial of LiftSP and a trial of Dermitage from the same site.  I also made sure to uncheck all boxes.  I was billed $97 from Deritage and $79 from Lift SP after a few days of my purchase.  LiftSP refunded my money, but I'm having trouble with Dermitage.  They told me to not go through my bank because they would send me a refund form and all I had to do was send it back with the unopened box.  It's been over a month and it has not arrived.  I called and they said it was sent.  They also said I could apply for a refund it I didn't do it withing a certain amount of time. It's president's day weekend, so I have to wait until Tuesday to take care of the charge of $29.95 from Depteaters.

I did not receive a call but received a charge of $29.95 on my bank.  I went to bank and filed a dispute for the charge.  They are investigating the number 801 2225269 which does not exist.

I did call today and was given a conformation number.  If I don't see a refund in about 5 days I will go ahead and call my bank. I'm sure most of us buy products online on a regular basis.  We know to watch out for checked boxes.  This business needs to go now!! They are parasites on the web and thieves.

They are some kind of an online financial newsletter. How you get them cancelled I have no idea. I disputed it on my credit card but was told if I had not cancelled I would probably be liable for the charges in spite of my dispute. I have no idea what the tel number is to dispute

Are LiftSP and Debt Eater somehow tied in together?  I just got charges from both of these companies on my credit card.

My card was debited twice for $29.95.  No idea who these people are -- never heard of them.  I called a number provided by my bank and was left on hold for over almost an hour.  Fed up I hung up. -- Who are these people and how can they do this

I got a charge for $29.95, and i looked into who they are and i got put on their billing list because i ordered a free sample off the internet.  Sometimes when you order a free sample of something you consent to a reacquiring payment for anything.  So if your going to order free samples that only cost shipping then you should read all of the fine print.  I canceled my card and made all the needed phone calls and im out of it now but what a pain.

I received an automated call shortly after ordering ACAI NONI.  I now have a 29.95 charge on my credit card.  I canceled everything they had mentioned on their website after being "suckered in", but this still went through.  What a scam!

I have been charged this same ridiculous 29.95 from this company called debt eaters and all I did was inquire about the ACAI berry product.  Un fortunately I put too much info in the computer and this has done done but haunt my whole checking account.  My bank (Wachovia)will take the charges off when I dispute it but will turn around and put them back on for some unknown reason!

I was charged $29.95 from this company too, along with a $29.95 charge from ACAI!  I NEVER ordered anything from these two companies.  However, I did order a free offer to pay shipping costs only from Skin Perfection, for a sample of LIFTSP.  Now that free sample resulted in two $79.95 charges against my account since Jan. 12th. A total of $218.90 has been deducted from one of my accounts and now I have cancelled that debit card and removed all money from the account and will file officially to try and recoup my money.  I've contacted the FTC and BBB. Please contact the FTC and BBB and report these people!

I have the same problem. I called them and asked for refund, but there is no refund yet. They charged me for $29.95 in Jan. and Feb. I'm afraid this is gonna take place monthly. I contacted my state's Attorney General and Internet Crime Complaint Center which is co-sponsored by FBI and the National White Collar Crime Center <http://www.ic3.gov/complaint/default.aspx>. BBB is not a law enforcement, so if Debt Eater refuses to refund the money for whatever reason, there's not much BBB can do about it. I recommend you to report this crime to law enforcement agencies. I hope they will be brought to justice.
