When I called back the number, the recording identified that it's calling on behalf on one of my favorite charities.  Have you donated in the past and left your number as a contact number?  As previous posters mentioned, you can call back the number and ask them to remove your number from their list.

multiple calls for the last 2 weeks on my caller id....they never leave a message on the voicemail.

I'm an AOPA member and AOPA has started spamming my E-mail with this cr*p brief thing and now that you mention it, this phone number too. Would this have to do with the change of president? I don't think I'll renew my AOPA subscription..

I know what you mean about the AOPA junk mail, under their New President, and this phone number.
I dropped my membership this year after 31 Years!!

This number is the World Wildlife Fund. To get off their list, send an email to: worldwildlifefund@custhelp.com

Tell them you want to be removed from their call list. Also request that they don't sell or give your number to any 3rd party.

They responded in less than 24 hours to me and confirmed my phone number was removed.

I donate to WWF, so they are in compliance with the Do Not Call because I had an "existing business relationship" with them. But if you donate or not, you have the right to request to be removed.

A nice man named Clint told me he would remove me immediately when I called the contact number (703-847-8300)and that they would not add the number again in the future.  I'm naively hoping for quiet phone lines.

I also spoke to a very pleasant individual named Clint, who said that he was immediately removing my number from the calling list. Let's keeo our fingers crossed!!

Answered and nobody said anything but I could tell someone was there. I believe that these calls are simply a way to determine if the answer is by human or FAX or electronic. With this knowledge, even unlisted numbers, like my own, can be placed on call lists and identified as a human answer number.

Have got lots of calls from this #.  Let machine pick it up.  Last night, they left a message using the F-bomb!!!  What kind of place is this???  I don't care who it is, they have no right to talk like that on any phone

I got the same recorded message twice within 3 days:

"We apologize.  One of our representatives just missed you.  This is a courtesy call from PIC.  If you have any questions please call 801-484-1107 during normal business hours."

I did not call them but I filed two complaints at donotcall.gov as well as an FCC complaint at the address kindly given above by Beanlet.

I also was getting repeated, unwanted calls which was setting off my household of dogs barking, before I could get to the phone (after working twelve hour shifts on my feet, forgive me for not getting to the phone soon enough for a nuisance call).  When I call back the number on caller ID, it was "out of service".  I called the contact number provided and was assured they would "take care of it immediately".

Hmmm... I used to be an AOPA member as well and recently dropped my membership.  Then I started getting bombarded with phone calls from this number.  What is this; scare tactics?  "Renew your AOPA membership or we'll keep calling at 930 at night. (evil laugh)"  :-/

I keep getting calls from this number.  They are trying to get me to buy insurance for Bank of America credit cards.  I would go broke just to pay the monthly insurance.  They will not stop calling.  I have talked to them more than 6 times in the past year.  Today they called twice.  When I answered, no one was there.  I am tired of wasting my time on these calls.

we have been getting calls every damn night for weeks from these jerks.  we don't know who they are and they never leave a message. we are sick and tired of them calling. yes, we probably have donated to these SOB s in the past, but after this endless calling crap, they will never get another dime, not will any of the other phone solicitors get anything - the sons-a-[***]!

I started getting calls from various groups that I am involved with I am on the do not call list but I did find out that as they are calling from a non profit org. they are exempt from that list but if you do just answer and ask them to delete your number they will do so without any issues. I did find this out after I started getting calls from them and then following that experience I found out they are based in my hometown of SLC UT and I was able to get employment through them.
