Do you work for these scammers?  The link you provide requires you to provide information that is not relevant, such as your e-mail address.  Why would you need an e-mail address to stop "fund raising" phone calls.  This is just another way to get your personal info.

Typical calls...mostly robocalling (now illegal) trying to get your personal info for identity theft.

doing this results in even MORE calls.  They are scam artists anyway.

Every day I get about 2 calls from Public Interest Co 801-484-1107. Since I have caller ID, I screen my calls and never answer the phone if I do not recognize the phone number or name. These calls also
come when I am not home.  I find this type of advertising or whatever very annoying and wish it would
just stop.  These folks are crazy when they keep calling and no one answers.  They could be
calling a dead persons house, huh?

It's AOPA (Airplane owners and Pilots Association) calling to re-subscribe the annual subscription....

At it again.   They've either gotten my number from the World Wildlife Federation, the Charlotte Met, or the Smithsonian.   I'm betting on the last, since we just subscribed on a trip to DC (to save on a family pass to the Air & Space theatre).   Now we deluged with spam mail and calls.

They called wanting my credit card # to  contribute to the Obama campaign.

Just received calls from this number and no messages were left. I would like this source blocked from further calls.

My caller ID lists this as Salt Lake UT. Hung up when I answered. Another number on my phones call blocked system now.

They have called twice! Once last night at 8:35PM, the phone rang twice I answer they hung up! So, I called the number back and it rang for almost 2 1/2 minutes!!!! Then they just called today at 10:57AM, I let the phone ring 4 times, I answer they hung up again!!!

Haha! Love the comment! If they are really legite, why do they never leave a message or why do they hang up when someone actually answers!? If I want to give to WWF, Defenders of Wildlife, I WILL CALL THEM!!! It's not just these people, it is ALL telemarketers! If we want something there are stores out there to buy from and there is a thing called the Internet!!!! We still get junk mail through the mail that they solicite through there, they would have money if they'd STOP wasting it! The money is to help the animals NOT for them to waste! Either call and speak or do the mail! One or the other!

I've gotten three calls from these folks over the course of two weeks.  I'm not getting inundated with calls.  But, I don't answer the phone when I don't know the caller.  I've never heard of 'Pub Int.' and don't answer.

I recommend never answering the phone if you don't know who the caller is - depending, of course, on what Caller ID tells you.  Once you answer that unsolicited call, they know that 'someone is home' and the calls will increase.  Not answering leaves them in the dark and they do, eventually, stop calling.

I have gotten three calls from this number - 3 days in a row at about the same time.  Who is it?

DO NOT CALL ME ANYMORE! I don't know why or how, but since signing new paperwork with my life insurance company who assured me they do not share our information with anyone else, my husband and I get calls at all time of day from New York, Utah, Oregon and right here in California and I am sick of it!

In the last few days I've gotten at least 10 calls from this #.

If you want to talk to someone to get off their call list, here's what to do:
If your phone is set up to give your caller ID (If you have ID off, leave the *67 off) call
*6717038478300 they should answer, tell them you want to be removed from their calling list, be polite. You will be transferred to someone who will take your number.

If your caller ID is on when you call, you will get put in an automated system with unknown (to me) results. I hope this helps!

I have the same thing, but with my cell phone. It's weird. I get calls from them up to but not limited to 4-5 times A day. I don't subscribe to stuff, NOR do I use my cell phone as the number to subscribe to anything, if I ever do, its my house phone. Someone must be handing info out.
