- Caller: Ebay
- Call type: Survey
- CelticDragon replies to GrandmaIt wasn't eBay-their number doesn't start with 801
- MikeEbay calls me from this number once a month or so. It's always to tell me about some promotion or new feature. It's not a scam.
- Caller: Ebay
- Tom replies to jimlegit call..i get these a few times a year..new promotions for power sellers...most are nonsense but it is legit
- Tom replies to mattgyveryou are lying. just a troublemaker trying to scare people? seriously if you called the number it would be ebay.

- OLRJust because a caller claims to be from eBay, does not mean the call is actually from eBay.
- DaveIt may be a legit eBay number, as I'd gotten locked out on my company computer (for some stupid reason, as it had been working earlier this morning). Tried to talk to some chick from Bombay, got my account unblocked, and got three calls (plus an email from eBay) from this number. So, I put it on the reject list. I don't want to talk to those stupid f*ckers anymore.
- Caller: eBay?
- UneseThe person called twice on Wednesday, 6th July, 2016...once at 12:40:39 and 12:41:04

- Ebay Confirmed FakeWe are Power Sellers. The lady that called said she was from Ebay and the CallerID said Ebay, but it felt shady so I got off the phone & contacted Ebay. They said that it was not their number and were going to report it. Bottom line, never give out info on phone from an unsolicited call and your fine.
- Yvonne NorrisI received a call from this number and it was from EBAY. I had called them, earlier, and was disconnected and this was a call from them to follow up on the disconnect. They did not ask any info from me, other than confirming that I was able to get back in contact with them. Legitimate caller.
- Caller: EBAY
- Geri| 1 replyI just entered the word ebay into my cell phone against this number so that if I get another call I know who it is and my phone actually recognized it giving me an email address of eBay@reply1.ebay.com. Whether it is or isn't them, (I'm a power seller) I'm not interested in hearing their pitches, so thanks all for at least cluing me in.
- Caller: 801-545-1800
- Geri replies to GeriThough come to think of it, I had NEVER given them my cell number... hmmmmm
- Shucky DuckyIt was Ebay.
- MarissaYes, it really is Ebay, not a scam. They call new sellers to alert them to promotions. The rep who called me didn't ask for any info, just wanted to encourage me to use Ebay's printable mailing labels at my next sale. I also received an email from Ebay with the same info. If you sell on Ebay and don't get these calls, it's simply because you opted out when creating your account.
- Caller: Ebay
- Paul S replies to KateThis is legitimately eBay. I called them (through their website) about some invoices I needed for taxes, and the guy I talked to a few days ago, was the same guy who left me a message. Told me to call them through the "eBay number"...
- DeBurgh777 replies to RoxyJust had a call and voicemail from this number. The caller identified herself as ******* from Ebay, stated my username and then addressed me by my first name. She advised me that I could save 25% with Ebay labels when I use USPS Priority Mail to ship my items, 37% when using FedEx. She then stated that all I needed to do to check this out was to go to www.ebay.com\labels. She then thanked me for selling on Ebay and to have a great day.
Sounds like Ebay is trying to save people some money when they sell stuff on their site.
If you don't believe it, sign in on Ebay and ask them yourself. - HollyReceived a call from this number twice today, and confirmed with EBay that it is not coming from their organization.
- Caller: EBAY INC
