- arbucksI recieved a AM Express for 44.95. I signed up for Realty Trac but cancelled the same day. This is the ONLY thing I've signed up for. Anyone having any luck coming up with refund.
- safHappened to me too. I filed a dispute through my bank. I hope I get a refund. I called Realy Trac to find out if I was signed up for anything else and they said no. Then the operator told me the same thing happend to him before (with a different company) and he knew how I felt....right then why is he working there???
- Steve W replies to REPROMO OREMI too was charged 44.95 several times (<4) and currently having a hard time getting someone to reverse them off my amex bill. I called Realtytrac but the person who answered knew nothing of the charge and would only address the 49.95 amounts.
I believe the 2 monthly amounts (44.95 and 49.95) both originate from RealtyTrac Co but no proof. The two transactions on my bill indicates RealityTrac comes from CA - California and the other charge from UT-Utah. - cajun100| 4 repliesNo call but did have $44.95 charge show up, disputing that now and reporting fraud via my CC bank. Agree that Realty Trac is guilty of something here as well as the "REProm" gang. Time to get the Utah badges on this.
- mimi replies to cajun100| 3 repliesi have the same problem now, they use the different company to charge the money. I am afraid they will continue charge 49.95 in my account and use different company every month. I decide to close this account. I hope there wont have any company to charge me anymore.I know the economic is bad, they can't do this to us.
- c replies to PO'edI did the same but never signed up for this website. I am reporting to the fraud department and bbb.
- JA replies to mimi| 2 replieshas anyone received a refund or any hope of getting their money back because it seems like a lot of us have gotten nowhere in solving this problem
- JA replies to JA| 1 replyBy the way, this is the website for the number http://www.alpinepropertycenter.com/index.php?base=contactus

im pissed off - ScottI also got charged my credit card. I think it is a setup with RealtyTRAC. There is lots of banner in realtytrac if we accidently or click then Realtytrac will send the credit card informations to those partner company and got charged.. I got this from realty promoter who charged my credit card.
Best option Don't register with Realtytrac...I cancelled the my membership. Don't want to charge again/ - Julianne Harvard replies to MarwanI have exactly same story, I was charged $44.95 from Repromoteorem twice within a month. I'm going to dispute this charge to Amex.
Please keep me posted.
Thanks, - leah23 replies to jyccI signed up for a free trial with RealtyTrac and had to give them my cc number...they charged me and I called to cancel but I am still getting a charge of $44.95 every month! on the 2nd or 3rd of every month. I am calling my bank tomorrow and calling RealtyTrac for a refund.
- Tom Chenault replies to MarwanZi have just checked my account balances, and have realized that i've been charged the same amounts as well, for 44.95. i also am a member of Realtytrac. Someone please give me some information that you have gathered so that i can recoup my money, and possibly persue this further.
- Tom Chenault| 1 replyThey annonimously charged my debit card 39.95 on 11/21/08, 44.95 on 1/21/09, 44.95 on 2/23/09, and 44.95 0n 3/23/09. This was not authorized by me and is fraud, theft, and identity theft!!!!!
- mariaTHese people called me about getting a website. I said NO!!!! I emailed them to let them know that I did'tn want it and they still charged my account 44.65 cents. I'm calling the police 1-801-705-532

- wraycTHIS IS A SCAM from realtytrac.com .... please submit a complaint to the BBB. Reasoning with these people is impossible as they always use the same M.O. that it was YOUR mistake, that you likely agreed to certain terms but then later forgot. These "term" are listed on a seperate page when you click "terms of use" icon at the bottom of the page. The only was to stop this company is legal action or simply cancel your credit card

- barapp| 3 repliesI am a victim also. Charged 44.95, 49.95 and 44.95. I filed a dispute with american express. I recived a letter today from american express that they are not going to credit my account. They said that the merchant gave them a screen shot. I sign up for realtytrac and canceled within the time frame and cancelled on the new report. I did not sign up with them.
I will be turning them in for fraud. American Express gave me the following email to cancel with them at support@realestatepromoter.com

I'm pissed because $49.95 has been withdrawn from my bank account and i want it fixed NOW! - Jay| 2 repliesJust notice $49.95 and it was the 2nd one. This is a joke and they won't answer the phone.
- val replies to barapp| 1 replyI had the same problem. Dispute will not help. I just got my 49.95 today.
Here is waht I did:
on Monday I noticed the charge on my Credit card statement, called credit card, credit card filed a dispute and send it to Real Estate Promoter. Then I called the number 801-705-5325( just to get the explanation why I was charged), waited about 1,5hrs(just be patient - it will take a while), then their client rep picked up the phone, I explain the situation that I was charged even though the account on Realty track was canceled. He said that I was charged because I left a check box related to Real Estate Promoter checked when I was creating an account on Realty Track. I told him that I want to cancel the account with Real Estate Promoter also and that I left a check box checked by mistake.I also told him that I already filed a dispute w/my credit card( which you should not tell :)), and then he said that he cannot do anything if dispute was already filed. I asked him to wait, put him on hold, called my credit card, conferenced the credit card representative in and asked Credit card rep to cancel dispute when both of them were on the line. Real Estate Promoter representative canceled my account and told me that I will get a refund in 5-7 business days. I ask him to send a confirmation email to me when I was still on the phone w/him, got my email- make sure you get your email when you are still on the phone. That all happened on Monday around noon- just get a refund on my credit card today. So it will take about 5 business days.. Good luck !
