Stop with the 2-3 phone calls a day!

I am getting calls from this number several times a day 7 days a week. I am on time with my payments to Capital One and have no reason to be getting calls as often as I am it is several different numbers as well calling. Just hit ignore on the screen of my phone when it comes up. I have had arguements with scammers before and just am not going to answer and let this get me all fired up! Just very irritating how do I get it to stop.

I got a call from this number and it won't stop calling, it calls me the same time everyday ,4:30 to 5pm and its annulling and they never leave a voice mail, how do I block unwanted numbers and others I don't want from my cell.

Says it's Linda with Capital One... Doesn't have your account information asked for my social security number. Called the real Capital One to file a complaint, of course I got Habib who just tried to sell me a card, wouldn't listen. F*CK Capital One.

ya it capone i was way behind due to losing my job...3 months but i called them made a small payment and they told me with out asking them that they would stop calling.  just a fyi

They call 2-3 times a day, I want them to stop.

6 phone messages to cap one in regard to bill - talked to supervisor and she fixed problem. I thought. Now 2 days later this number is on caller ID 3x ...they never fix things ..a nightmare. Put on my Verizon block list.

I am politically active and I will tell you all here that this is the United States government harrassing it's designated targets.  Unfortunately, in my case, they are claling my childs phone.

I called Capital one and they told me that it was not one of their numbers...they were very excited...but, the thing is, this business has people complaining about it for over a year...so how is it that they get away with it?

It's not capital one...it's the government.

this is capital one - in order to stop this call is to pay all your credit card bills, or if cannot afford to pay your bills, files for bankruptcy period.

So far today, I have gotten 18 calls from this number. I don't answer it because I don't know the #. Now I know its Capital One Bank. I don't have an account with them and I called them and told them so. Their response was basically that they did not believe me and I was told that they would continue to call me whenever they feel like it and there is nothing that I can do about it.

Do not return this call...it is NOT Capitol One. This is a SCAM!  Add it to your blocked numbers list through your provider if possible.  If not, on your cell phone, save the number and set it to a silent ring tone. Yes you will still see the missed call, but at least it won't ring and bother you.

this people calls and calls do not leave a message,
do not respect the 'DO NOT CALL

This is the voice mail I get on my phone EVERY Day - Thank god I have Google Voice where I can block this number and it will give a disconnect message to the calling party.

I called Capital one and they knew nothing of Linda from Capital One , they said they would report it back to the manager.

Here is the message that was driving me nutt's till I blocked those "Cow Pies" ! ;)

In order to block with a disconnect message / sign up for Google Voice / you will get another number but most Cell Phones you can use Google Voice for the Voice Mail / and use the blocking feature. But best case is to start giving out your google voice number which can route to your cell phone

It's funny that "Linda" has been calling people for more then two years! I closed my account, paid in full, and I am still receiving these calls. I call back and get nothing. So annoying!!

I got a call from these people and they said I had an overdue account. I called the actual capital one number on the back of my card and she verified that I had already made a payment. The fraud number was asking for my info that i didnt give. The actual rep at CapOne said that this 2027244 number is NOT EVEN IN THEIR DIRECTORY AT CAPITAL ONE! WTF. That is SOO scary. I like my capital one card and if this continues --- I am cancelling my account.

This number is NOT capital one! The called ID says it is, but its not! PLEASE dont give out your info to them. If you talk to an ACTUALLY capOne rep, they will tell you that they leave messages and dont ask for personal info over the phone.
