well dumbass sometimes thats not the case-- i dont even have a capital one credit card and never have- so explain why they are calling me

This is NOT a scam.  813-202-7244 is an automated message from Capital One that a payment is more than 30 days past due.  I received a message from Linda which is Capital One's automated caller.  It is legitimate and when I called the number back they had the correct information.

Really is correct.  This is a legitimate number with capital one

Yes, it is Capital One.  Yes, you owe them money.  Either pay them or get used to the phone ringing every day.

It is Capital One.  The only times I've gotten calls from this number is when my Capital One card is 30+ days overdue.  If you call the number back, it's Capital One.  Do you think a gigantic company like Capital One is only in one place?  Are you truly stupid?  Or are you just one of those tin-foil-hat-wearing conspiracy people who thinks everything is a scam?

This number is constantly calling our business' operator and help desk lines. There has only been someone on the line twice when the phone was answered, and they seemed very confused and weren't entirely sure who they were looking for. Asking them to take our numbers off their list did nothing.

We get at least one robo-voicemail from "Linda" every day afterhours. Sometimes they call and leave voicemails in the middle of the night.

I  got that phone call this morning at looked it up it's coming from Tampa, Fla.

Got a call from this number too one time this morning. A lady said Elizabeth I said yes. She said how are u today ? I said ok didn't giver her a chance to say anything else not even her name if it was Linda...  It's been taken care of.

I didn't give  them a chance to talk !

Had a friend tell me  that she spoke to a Supervisor from  Capital One.. Friend said the problem was fixed.. I get a new call from this number 1 time this morning.

“Hi this is Linda. We would like to discuss solutions regarding an important business matter at Capital One. Please call back today at 1-866-953-7906 to discuss further. Again the phone number is 1-866-953-7906. Thank you.”

Called this back today and asked why they were calling me, she hung up. Do not give them ANY INFORMATION.  Not even your name!

Phone rang showing this a number, I do not answer any phone calls from numbers now in my caller ID, if they don't leave a voice mail they get deleted.
