Why is my job lazy? I go to work just like everyone else, some people want the information and some do not. Thus, a company hires us to find out who wants the information. How is that not a real job? You bought the phone that allows anyone in the world to call you whenever they want, did you not know this prior to the purchase of the telephone? Did you not also know that telemarketers exist prior to purchasing the telephone? And if the 5 seconds I take out of your day enrages you that much simply purchase a phone with call block. In conclusion, L & J holdings is NOT a telemarketing agency, we have never taken, asked for, or obtained a single cent from any of the people we call to conduct the survey, which means the National Do Not Call List does not apply L & J Holdings since we do surveys. The only way to make it illegal for us to call you is for you to ask to be put on our company specific Do Not Call List.

Here's the drill:

1. Download Call Control, a great call blocker app that includes something called a "community" blacklist. Those numbers are automatically blocked. It's on Android, not sure about Apple.
2. You can add numbers of your own as you need them. Me, I head to this site, and check them out, then put on my blacklist as needed.
3. Never call these numbers back. You'll just be put on more lists.
4. This one app reduced the calls coming into my cell by I'd say 30%. I have 2 land line business numbers on perpetual call forwarding, printing so the do not call registry does not apply.

Your company has called and called. I have polity informed them, the person your asking for died.
Yes, died. I have said, may I help you? They say no, we'll call back.

When you do call back, we go through the same conversation again.

Why will your fellow employees not listen, and not remove us from your list?
As I have asked to be removed during the conversations too.

That is why people here get as angry as they do here.

We understand you have a job to do, but see it from our side too.

I got a call from Nancy of L&J Holdings. She set up my portfolio for me right over the telephone. It has been a few weeks but I still have not gotten any papers in the mail. I do not really know how to use a portfolio right now anyway. If anybody out there knows what to do with it should contact me. It cost me $699.00 and I now think that I really don't need a portfolio anymore. My late husband's brother is going to come over and discuss this portfolio for me. That part is OK because I like seeing him by himself when his wife, my sister-in-law, is NOT with him.

"receiver of call" I understand where you are coming from, however, the people that do not follow the rules of L & J Holdings are bad employees (not putting someone on the Do Not Call List when the person on the survey is deceased). I am sure you have bad employees at your job, the only diference is that in telemarketing bad employees dont last two weeks. The reason I am still there is because I get surveys from those who want the information and I put those who do not want it on the Do Not Call List.

"Beverly Bohler" is an ignorant liar, L & J Holdings has never taken a cent from those we call and we have never had any kind of "portfolio" that costs $699. Alternatively, under the assumption you may have some other sort of L & J Holdings not affiliated with us, why the HELL would you spend $700 a thing that you dont even know the mechanics of. Calls almost daily. I answered twice. A Latino speaking voice asked for a person with a Latino first name. I said,"You have the wrong number." He hung up. This happened twice.

Called looking for the owner.  Denied access...and she hung up.

The Do Not Call Registry is useless.  The best way to stop these calls is to get a call blocker phone and block the phone numbers of these idiots.  When a blocked number calls, your phone will ring once to allow the caller Id to come through and then it promptly hangs up on them.  My calls have gone from about 30 per month down to one or two.

Also don't call back to the number to be removed from their call list as you are only confirming that your number is valid.

BS.  they are breaking the law regardless if they are college kids or not.
And it doesn't matter if it is automated.  People don't like to be disturbed
with BS telemarketing calls in which 95% are scams.  If people want the
services that the telemarketers are calling about they will search for it and
call the appropriate business.

Do not call registry is a joke, my bogus calls have almost doubled since I signed on to them.

I know you think you know what you're talking about and it's very cute. If you're so enlightened then provide proof of the one time L & J has ever taken any callers money, it has never happened. I don't care what the people on here say because they are mad that they are getting spammed with calls so they will slander our name any way they want. We never take any money and never do anything illegal or else we wouldn't exist, get it? Call the government if you're so mad, or even try to get us fined it wont work, were completely legit. Better men than you have tried. The only reason I have this job is because I LOVE annoying people and someone pays me to do it! So I'll be calling your house soon and theres nothing you can do about it!

As a telemarketer, you obviously are not a lawyer and from what you wrote, are not familiar with Federal law govering this subject under the TCPA.  For this I will asume that you are conducting surveys and not subject to the Do Not Call List.  However, your auto dialer system is calling people and disconnecting when the call is answered (see the 46 pages pf posts here).  These are vioations of the TCPA, irrespective of wheher you are conducting surveys or whether the people you are calling are on the Do Not Call List.
These being violations, the FCC is responible for prosecution.  Hence, what people can and should do is file a 1088 Complaint with the FCC. This can be simply done online on the FCC's website.

Other violations which can be reported to the FCC include all those people who requested to be put on your company specific do not call list, and you continue to call.  Have a nice day !

I get a lot of calls I try to be as rude as possible to these scumbags I try to hurt your feelings and have no remorse about it.
