keep receiving calls from this number for no reason

Some piece of human excrement from this place woke me up, then wouldn't answer; however, talking was audible in the background. Phone people are creeps, especially when they insist on calling people who don't want to be bothered.

I received calls from these people and had no idea who it was until I came here.  My old firm were Warrantech's accountants.  There are disreputable - and broke!  They were trying to go public to raise money.

In my case, it was SEARS who gave them my info!!! never buying anything from that store again!!!

Remove my number 516-676-6296 from your calling list immediately. If I ever answer your call it will be with a whistle in your ear so be forewarned Brett.

THAT IS, SIMPLY, NOT TRUE!!!! I have had numerous calls on my cell from this company and called them back to be put on their DNC yesterday......................AND today!!!! Because they have continued to call my phone number!!

My next step is to report to the authorities because it is costing me $$ to talk with them EVERY DAY!! I have been in the National DNC since March & was told it would go into effect in 31 days. Now it is September - so it has been 31 days +++++.

F'ing insanity!! And STUPID PEOPLE all over the place that WILL buy something from this company makes it worth them making mass calls tryinbg to sell whatever!! If you or your company call my phone illegally again I will sue your [***] for everything your worth. I've already placed a report to the police for the harassment I have received DESPITE requesting to be placed on the Do Not Call list. If anyone would like to add their case to the claim let me know.

Just received a call, they hung up after reaching the recorded message. Let's get on with life!! Find better things to do with your miserable life. Don't make others miserable. (Or perhaps you're doing this for other reasons unknown to the general public.) Such as being able to attach yourselves onto their phone lines.

All you need to do is to call the number press 5 and ask the customer service rep to add you to its do not call list.  You can also find them on the web at http://www.warrantech.com/company.html

I've been receiving calls from this number for 3 months now.  Sometimes 2 and 3 times a day.  They never leave messages.
Well, today I've had it, and called them back.  Even waited for a Rep to come on the line.
Turns out, I purchased a digital camera back in Sept. 2009.  They wanted sell me a 3 year warranty for the camera.  (Note:  The lady was very nice and understanding, and I'm not rude; I would never take my anger out on a Rep.).
I asked her why don't they just leave a message?  I would have called back sooner.  She said many people complain about that.)

Anyway, she promptly and courteously put me on their "Do Not Call" List.

BTW:  The company is Warrentech.  (Sales & Renewals)

They must have changed their name to AMTRUST. That is what the caller ID says on my phone. If they want to sell me an extended warranty on some product I may have purchased from one of their partners, send me snail mail. I don't give my credit card number to anyone over the phone.

Got another call from Amtrust. Got one the 24th. In between I get them from Warrantech which is also annoying. I just don't answer and they don't leave a message. Should not have to notify, again, the people at the Do Not Call number, which I am on.
