Have been receiving multiple (3-4) calls a day from this number for the past two weeks.  Most times I let it ring.  Answered once last week, there was nothing on the other end of the line and then they hug up. Last time (5 minutes ago) I answered, no response and then a click, hung up.....  WTF!  Call me 30+ times and I finally answer and you hang up.  Quit calling......I am reporting....

These guys call constantly, very aggravating.

Some of the below responses are incredibly stupid:   "once you fill out a warranty card ... the vendor is required to make contact with you ...".   Really?   You're smart enough to use the word "vendor" like you know what you're talking about, and you write the vendor is "required to make contact with you"?   Where is the federal or state statute that makes it a requirement?   If, as a legitimate purchaser, you contact either the seller, re-seller, or manufacturing with a warranty problem, then of course they're required to respond.   As for them contacting you out of the blue for their own marketing/sales purposes, and especially concerning phone calls from them at 11:00 pm or so, or calling day after day for weeks on end ... they're "required" to do that?     Some Americans are so so smart, but so so stupid.    Explains perfectly why the U.S. is where it is today:    filled with oh-so-educated and intelligent people, yet can't reason it's way out of a paper bag.

I am not a Warrantech existing customer. I've never heard of this company in my life. How did you get my number?
Stop doing illegal cold calling. Period. Instead of offering a lame apology and setting people up for yet more harassment, now via email.

we get calls a few times every week.  Very annoying.  We don't answer when we see who it is.
How can we get them to STOP? If we do answer no one is ever on the line.

The number Warrentech used repeatedly to call me is 817-785-6136.  They call repeatedly and I do not want them to call any longer!!!!!

Legit call -- we have a warranty (on our Samsung tv) which is running out.  The bottom line is that if the cost of this warranty is used instead to help buy a new tv -- you are much better off.  Plus the new tv s have 4K technology so a definite upgrade.  Legit call because we have a warranty contract with them and not a matter for the DNC list.
Besides the DNC list is totally NOT effective anyway -- it has no teeth.

comfort circle I didn’t answer it. Immediately looking it up in the community of cautious people I will block it on my Apple zervice which works well.

Received a call from this number today. I am on a do not call list as well.
I also have not done any business with them. I know, because unless they are calling about a product that I actually bought a warranty for, back 15+ years ago, I have not purchased any warranty's for anything in the past decade+. The majority of the time, I view warranty's (beyond the manufacturer's) as just a waste of money.

They don't leave a message. If they were an honest company, they should leave a message and actually have a real person call you. I am always pleasant when a real person calls, respects my wishes, and are not pushy. That's just business. Anything else is just a robocall and a bother.

Called here yesterday around 10:45 AM PDT.  Did not answer.  No msg.  Never heard of Warrantech.

This number called & picked up the phone.  There was a pause & then the person hung up the phone.

The Do NOt Call Registry is as much as a scam as these guys are.  I have been on it for years and registered several times and it has never stopped the calls.

This caller is a scam, been making money for selling a fake insurance! Be aware of these!

This number came in as “Out Of Area” so I blocked it. if they can’t have their real ID on their phone number, the number will be blocked!

I know you believe you mean well, but there are too many kooks in the world to be putting that level of detail on a site like this.
- What if someone has and posts incorrect or outdated info?
- What about someone with a grudge against a neighbor and uses a post here in their vendetta?
