- sherryI see the exact same call I received today 7-29-20 was going strong last year too. So what good did it do to report it to the FTC? I received the same call word for word, but caller ID said it was from Rexburg ID 1-208-359-8179. The voice (David Thompson: customer relationship manager) gave me an acct.# to refer to when calling back. V-tech solutions (?) "renewed my anti virus security for the upcoming 1 yr. and have charged me $399. Call back w/in 48 hrs. to cancel" (different call back # this year of 307-298-3951). I was so scaird at first but thanks to 1-800 notes, I now know it is a scam call, and wouldn't dare to call them back.

- NorthWest08/24/20 - Rec'd call advising 399.00 would be charged for renewal of security. Same as others - do not know nor have done any business with V Tech Solutions. Call came in as Xman with a local area code then wants me to call 1-307-298-3808 for refund. Multi adults here - who is being charged Xman? Yes, I'll call Xman right away. NO.

- SHB replies to DJSame shenanigans on my machine too. When I called VTech they said I can pay $5 to talk with one of their techs rather than advising if they are part of this scam.

- MaryWe received the same automated voice message today but with a different customer relationship manager, different call-back number, and different caller ID. Trying to stop these people must be like trying to play whack-a-mole. Thank you to everyone who has posted about this.
