I can block my cell but I can't block numbers on my work phone. It is a violation of the Fair Debt Credit Practices Act to use an auto dialer system.

have told them for over a year roy shultz hasnt had this number for ten years yet they never stop calling then hang up on me when i tell them instead of taking my number off the list

They keep calling me too. I cussed them out this ridiculous. I called the place they said i took a loan out on. They gave me the identity theft gov phone number. 18774384338. Call and repot them also Equifax number is 18883973742. Do not fall victim to this. They are also calling my brother and son looking for me.

Scam. I've received these before, years ago from the same number and "Michael Carter." Don't pay attention!

This person has called my cell phone, house phone, my mother's cell phone, since Friday the 12th, a total of 8 times looking for me.  I didn't even think to consider it being tax time.  Very frustrating!!

Called me with robo voice mail. Didnt even say a name, rather it said there was a filed complaint against me. The same bla bla that everyone here has gotten. I have called the # back several times to get different robots. They will not give any info on themselves, So i gave the bot a load of fake info and my secondary# / spam #, got a call back within moments on the secondary asking for the fake name i gave, its a scam trying to get information from you. ie. SSN, Banking info, addresses, etc.

I have received 9 calls from this number over the last week. Additionally, my parents received two, claiming if they didn't call back and report any information they knew about MY whereabouts that the "proper authorities" would be notified. When I stayed on the line and tried to get a person, they did not get on the line. COMPLETE SCAM.

Yes, been getting them on my cell phone and my work phone. I don't. want my elderly relatives to get these calls and be concerned, not realizing it is a scam. Be careful, don't answer, don't say yes, and don't give the blood sucking scum of the earth a thing.

They called my brother today and he called to let me know. They spoofed the call for him making it look like a local number. They've called me but never left a message, but did for my brother. The last time this happened as it was December 2016 and they called my mother in law and college friend. I wonder how they choose who to call? It's hard not to met this bother/scare me even though I know it's a scam. I hate that they bother people you know.  So frustrating that there doesn't seem to be anything that can be done about this! I've files a claim with FTC and my state's attorney general, but I'm not sure what good it will actually do

Consider a call blocker.  This is most likely an off-shore Caribbean based scam outfit calling you.  Ignore and block.

Once was enough, you know. No need to ask several different people the same silly question. Especially since it's hihgly unlikely any of them will return and answer you.

Mans name is Michael Carter.  He said to please call or the next step is to notify proper authorities.  I blocked them from calling my cell phone but they have called my neighbor and my place and of employment.

YES YES YESS!!! You have the exact thoughts as I do! They call almost always around tax time AND around the holidays! WHO DOES THAT?!?! Not to mention that it is not a valid debt in any way, shape, or form!!  And calling everyone in your family!! SOOO frustrating.
