They said they where from Anthem.    Anthem never call people.   I am still not so sure if they were from our medical insurance.

Called me on a Saturday from "Anthem" asking for my adult son; totally robotic voice, not very convincing, obvious scam.

The caller left a voicemail claiming to be from Anthem. The voicemail was completely robotic except for when my name was announced. The caller claimed to have "important information" that needed to be discussed. The presentation of the voicemail and the fact Anthem customer service is closed on weekends leaves room for suspicion.

The caller called on a Sunday and left a "Robotic" message claiming to be from "Anthem" stating
"We would like to go over some important information with you"

Same as other reports -- automated call from "Anthem," said my name, had some "important information."  Have not called the number.  Happened today -- Monday morning.

Same experience happened Feb. 26. My advice would be call Anthem from the number on your insurance card. Never return calls like that

Ditto. Got a robotic call from this number claiming to be Anthem and asking me to call back for some 'important information'. This does not seem like a valid number

Just got this call as well. Their service department closes at 8 eastern, I got the call at 8:30 eastern. Definitely scam, but I will call Anthem tomorrow to report.

Confirmed with Anthem that this is a bad call

My experience was the same as the above callers. A robotic message citing my name asked that I dial a number to discuss "important information." After calling the real Anthem, I was informed neither the number I was asked to dial to discuss "important information" nor the number on the caller ID (probably fake) is operated by Anthem. This scam, including the caller ID and call back number, has been reported to the FTC.

Recieved call at 7:15pm PST with message for my wife claiming to be Anthem with important information. Based on other responses I will contact to report to Anthem.

Same as all of the above. I called back, but hung up after the first few questions.

Received this call yesterday. Claimed to be Anthem used my first name.  Asked me to call back for some "important information"

Same as all the above...on Wed., 3/3 my phone accepted a Potential Scam voicemail, robotic with the message as indicated in all other cases.  I did not return the call.

Same as all other reports. Super robotic voice, asking for my husband by his unusual full name. I'm thinking that our data was stolen from Anthem; he and I are on separate plans, so there's no way they would have put his name with my number unless they got it from Anthem.

same experience as those above! i had gotten a potential spam call earlier in the day + did not answer it. then later realized i had also received a voicemail. it was a robotic voice requesting that i call them to discuss "important information" but then again I knew Anthem is not usually open this late in the evening so I got a bit suspicious + googled the number only to find these reports above. thank god I listened to my gut 😮 thanks to everyone for reporting it!

Also just received a call identical to all the above descriptions - 9:30 PM EST.  Requested that my husband call the number.  We are insured with Anthem, and it seems many reports above are as well.  It seems likely that perhaps Anthem has been compromised and our info is out there?
