Same for my number today?  March 6.  Does anyone know if Anthem has been hacked?

Left me a message saying they were from anthem. When I called back a robotic voice asked me to verify my phone number ,  then asked for my birth year, at this point I hang up.

Received call asking me to call the above number to discuss important information. I hung up and called Anthem. The actual company informed me it did not operate either the call back number or the number displayed on the caller ID. I explained to them this scam was becoming wide-spread. Hopefully something will be done.

Received robot call claiming to be from Anthem, asking for my adult son. Said they have important info to discuss.  The called ID came in as Telemarketer, Andover, MA. 978-783-0250. We do have Anthem Insurance, not sure how they know or if this was a 'lucky guess' on their part.

I did not have Anthem insurance in 2015 nor before. Now I have Anthem insurance and I received a similar call today evening. Did not call back. I am wondering if Anthem was hacked again or what is happening.

Received a call logged a Spam. They caller was able to leave a voice message. Robotic Voice message with the same message reported by others. I contacted Anthem and they confirmed it wasn't an Anthem phone number and expedited this information to Upper management.
Has Anthem been compromised again?????

Called Anthem about this number. The Customer Service person I talked to said it is their policy to send an email with their concerns requesting that you call them. Also, she looked up the number and found no record of it with their Customer Service department. Most likely a scam.

Same MA number called me and left an automated voicemail even saying my first and last name. Didnt return call, found this thread first.

We got this call.  I instead called the number back on the card.  The lady actually tried to tell me it was a legit call, but she couldn't provide any information about it.  I just hung up on her, I refused to believe it.

Same as everyone above, only I didn't answer the call. I was outside talking with a neighbor when the call came in, so I let it roll to vm. I didn't call it back. Sounded like BS to me.

Robotic voicemail, but had my first name. Asked me to call back with "important information" about my account. Caller ID came up on my phone as "Potential Fraud" so thank you early reporters. Kept me from answering and looks like safeguards have this number pegged.

Robotic voicemail except when it said my name though it had both first and last. Message indicated they had important information but provided no details. Did not find this number in Anthem's customer support section and received it on a Saturday. Obvious Fraud is obvious

From caller ID 978-783-0250 Robocall to spouse's phone: "Hello, this is Anthem calling for [my full name]. We'd like to go over some important information with you so please call us back 1-833-636-0996 again the number is 1-833-636-0996. Thank you and have a good day. Goodbye." Spouse, who is subscriber to Anthem policy covering both of us, is the one to receive this call. Only Anthem has this situation for us, so how did these people get this information???  Stolen data.  Called Anthem on number of back of card -- knew nothing about why I would be called.

Received a call on our home phone

I've gotten four calls from 978-783-0250, each time for a different person. A robo female claiming to be Anthem, [first & last name] to call 833-636-0996. I reported it to Anthem.
