Called and left a VM. Said my full name to call back. Claiming to be Anthem.  Hiya mRked as possible fraud and blocked the call to force it to VM. After seeing byhe reports I conclusion SCAM/FRAUD.

Received voicemail from this number. Same scenario as above with a robotic voice message that did have my name and said it had important information regarding my account. Called Member Services at Anthem instead who verified that this number is not associated with them. If in doubt, call the number for Member Services. It's on the back of your card, their website, etc.

Claims to be from Anthem. Asks for your phone number to verify their records before sharing important information with you.

I received a call from 978-783-0250. I missed the call but received a voice mail message. The message as others have reported from "Anthem" and have important information for me to please call 833-636-0996. I called the number and a message said enter your phone number so we can access your account. I did and a message said we can't access your number. I hope I didn't mess up and someone now has stolen my number.

Unfortunately, I think they already have our numbers.  Hopefully, you didnt verify or give then any other numbers or personal info!

Received a robotic voicemail from 1-978-783-0250 asking me to return the call to 833-783-0250 claiming to be Anthem and saying they "need some information from me".  Anthem already have every bit of information on me that they could possibly need so I think this is a scam.  Since I am an Anthem customer I suspect they got my name and number by hacking into Anthem's system.  How else could they know?  Or maybe they hacked into a hospital database and mined the info from there.  Either way it makes me furious.

Received two voicemails from 978-783-0250 claiming to be from Anthem with important information and asking to call back 833-636-0996.  I called Anthem membership today, and was told that if the call was from them, they would normally leave a name or a reference number and, therefore, to disregard these calls.

I did the same thing, why isn't Anthem protecting our information.  now I am getting texts from my own phone list trying to get me to click on a link.  SCAM both numbers.  Anthem said this has been going on for months

I received a call I did not answer.  They left a message, a robotic voice claiming to be from Anthem asking me to call this number.  I just signed up with Anthem so the timing is interesting, but I see no emails or other notifications from them.  Weird that an insurance company would have a robot call if they needed to discuss important information, rather than a real person.

This number has called multiple times with a robotic voice asking for more information. This is NOT Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, they call from Richmond, VA, and will also email you.

Text received stating that they were confirming a purchase from Amazon.

Robotic voicemail, except for pronouncing my name, indicating that Anthem need to discuss important information.  Total scam, not returning call.

Call supposedly from Anthem to "go over important information". Knew my name. I called Anthem # on back of my card. They had no knowledge.

Robo call claiming to be Anthem, asked to confirm if I was *stated my full name*. When I didn’t respond, I was told to call back  1 (833) 636-0996 to discuss important information .
