Called 3 times in a row on a Sunday. That can't be legal.

I love cell phones. I don't recognize the number-I don't answer. I turn the sound off when I want to sleep. Can block the call too.

These A holes will call up to 5 times a day starting just a few days after the 1st of the month when the mortgage is due.
SCUM!

They actually start their calls ON the 1st of the month if payment is not yet received and continue to call 5-8 times per day until they received the payment.

Answer the call. Press mute. They hang up. They get billed for the call.

Just got a call this morning (Sunday at 8:02am)

They called me 3 times in the last hour... On top of calling 5 or more times a day. No voicemails. I've already talked with wells fargo, if this is who it is, about why I am late... so this is just incredibly annoying.

Yup..Wells Fargo Mortgage.  I think my payment is late...so they're calling to get me on track.

We are getting calls from them every few hours every single day. If it is Wells Fargo Mortgage, they have no reason at all to be calling us. First of all, our house is paid for, and second, we have NEVER had a mortgage with Wells Fargo! They never leave a message. We do not answer unknown callers or phone numbers we don't recognize.

I received a call from this number and the (professional sounding) woman identified herself as being from Wells Fargo Mortgage. I called Wells Fargo to verify the number and it is NOT a Wells Fargo number!

All the more reason to simply BLOCK the number!!! There is NO LAW that requires you to answer a bill collector's call.

What is it about this number and Sunday mornings?

Interesting.  Did you ever call the number in the recording?  That could explain why they call even if you have called Wells Fargo and explained it to them.  Suppose it's a scam like the IRS calls I keep getting?
