Make a distinction. You’re getting calls from ASC not WF directly. ASC is a debt collector company contracted by Wells Fargo to harass you.  Therefore, they are NOT a creditor—so they ARE legally bound to comply with the FDCPA rules. But they flagrantly ignore it. It gets more complicated, because ASC is owned in part or in full by Wells Fargo. They will lie and say they are representing WF, but this is not strictly correct. This contractor gets gigantic fees if they talk you into a loan modification. Don’t fall for it. And yes the unaffiliated scammers spoof both WF and ASC.

Call ringing two to three rings only. Multiple calls once a day for two to three days at a time at the same time each day. No messages left. Blocked now.
