If they tell you they can't do that, cite the Fair Debt Collection Act of 1996, reminding them they have to comply. It is the law.

This company keeps calling my number trying to get ahold of my husbands loser brother we don't speak to (for this reason).  They called yesterday 8-27-15 and tried to tell us that loser also listed my husband on the CC account that was charged off and we need to pay.  When I asked what ss # he listed showing my husband they kept coming up with excuses.  I pulled our credit reports and there was NOTHING about a bogus CC account they were trying to make use pay.  So sick of these calls. We pay our bills but get 5-10 a week for his loser brother we have nothing to do with.  ARGGG

Got the same call they left a message stating the same thing as they did with all of you.  They have called me about three times in the past six months. I researched it and decided to call back to see if I could put a stop to it. A lady answered talking about she could hardly hear me and said she would check to see who it was by entering my number. Didn't ask my name or anything else. She also said it was a third party auto dialer that they use and that's why she didn't see any information pop up for my number when I called. Finally she says it must be a misdial. She probably resorted to saying that because she probably could hear I was ready for battle in my tone. Normally in this day and age when you call a company that handles debt or the collection of money, there is a recording stating the call is being recorded. There was nothing like that and she answered with the quickness. Plus her background was silent. I'm about to just block the number

This company and its owner Jihann McDuffie along with Glen Wallace is a SCAM. I was employed there until i found out what they really do. They add extra money onto your balance ("interest and penalty fee") they call from different numbers around the country to throw off people and they collect on debt that is past the statute of limitations and has already been collected on. If you receive a call from these people record the conversation, don't pay them ANYTHING and contact a lawyer. I had worked in collections before and became familiar with the FDCPA- they don't even acknowledge the rules and guidelines set by gov't to protect consumers. I walked out after they scammed an old lady into paying an old debt twice. It was really sad and the woman was on social security. If you or anyone you know have paid this company any money please call and have it refunded. They have 2 offices- both in GA, one in snellville and one in stone mountain. DO NOT PAY THESE PEOPLE!!!!

Oh yeah, their website is bogus as well. They set it up to try to give off the idea that they're a legit company, but do not be fooled- they scam and lie to people daily. The legal jargon means nothing. And if you spoke with a "Jon Sheridan " that's really McDuffie. He listens in and gets on the phone when the "talk off" isn't working and reiterates all the lies that the rep tells you just to get you to pay. They really are losers that make a living off scamming people out of their hard earned money. Copy and paste these posts on your facebook page to make your friends aware as well. As stated- i was unaware of that they used these tactics and separated from them due to the unethical methods they use just to make a quick buck.

this is very disturbing. received a call as well (from a 702 area code) and decided to research them. yes, their website does make them seem legit; however, the debt they contacted me about was from '08, well past the statute of limitations in my state. do not pay these losers and scam artists anything

on 9-21-15 received a call from this number. These scammers keep keep changing there numbers and calling people over and over. I have reported these numbers to the FBI. It seems like they can't find out who they are.

These guys were a lot of fun to play with. They are attempting to collect on a "debt" from 2005. 2005! Ten years ago. Not only that, but it was an identity theft type situation that was resolved back then. I did my homework, checked our credit reports, all of them, nothing. Nevermind the ten year lag... These guys are a joke. Don't let them threaten and badger you. Block the numbers and be done with them. Zombie debt is no debt.

Received message from ACA claiming I needed to call back at 844-246-8944 to discuss a time sensitive matter. Was on my cellphone and figured out this is a scam for sure. Will not waste my time calling and will block number.

I received a call from  this number and they said I owed 700 and some change and that paperwork would be filed to suspend my license. Told her to have a nice day and hung up. Will be calling AG first thing in the morning.

Person leaves message that he is calling with a message from ACA about our account of which we have none.

Received several of these calls on cell numbers. Knew it was a scam from a couple of years ago when I returned one of them. A very rude, persistent young woman didn't ask for any information. Just repeatedly asked "Do you have the money to pay this debt?" I told her I did but it'd be a cold day in hell before they saw any of it. She became indignant until I asked her how she'd feel being harassed about a non-existent debt. I then asked for the name of the person she was looking for. The name she gave had different middle initial! She still insisted I pay the debt. Told her to try again on someone else because if you call me again, VA Atty General will be on you like stink on s%^&. No more calls until this week, not on land line, but on cell numbers. Simple solution, just block them! Easy to do on most cell carriers and if not, google for call block apps., install one, block'em and forget about'em!

I have blocked this those numbers and they still get through. Googled ALL of the numbers given above & yes, it is a scam.

I received recorded calls from 844-246-8944 saying the exact same thing as others here have mentioned, I found the website for them, looked into it all, and I agree it is a scam

They have been calling for about 2 years now. And the same recorded voice says "it's very time sensitive."  Oh really for over 2 years. Ha ha ha
We do not live in the USA but have a USA phone number (Magic Jack). We screen all our calls and never answer number we don't know.

One more thing.  They call at least 4 times a week.
