Gotten this call before and now my sister-in-law got one with my name in it.

It isn't odd.  Somewhere your name has been associated with this person.  See my previous post on the first page of this thread.

Got VM from Mark Wallace about a "formal complaint" filed against one of my relatives. He didn't say the name, it was pre-recorded. Said they would be "notifying the proper authorities." I got the same call last year. Beautiful lesson about why you should never answer calls from unknown numbers.

Mark Wallace calling me about a formal fraud report on me and the I have to contact them to find out the whereabouts.  Also stated that if I don't contact him I will be reported to the authorities.  Ummm? If I commited fraud, wouldn't the authorities already know ?  Who is this and what company?

"Mark" appears to be very busy trying to extort money from innocent people - judging from comments here & on other websites.  Just block the caller & give your state attorney general a call.

As I reported to the Federal Trade Commission, this individual said right off the bat in what seemed like a distorted voice (either distorted by software or they were trying very hard to pass a hard bowel movement) that there was a formal complaint against...

Then, there was a pause. I disconnected the coll, blocked the number and reported the number. Full of crap people, total scam.

Keep receiving voice messages asking if I know the where-a-bouts of a Sandra "someone".  They ask for me to call the number back if I know this person.  I blocked the call.

the muffled male caller is looking for a Jasmine Patell who is missing and if you have information regarding where about to phone...etc. this call has been happening for 2 weeks or longer and daily occurrence.

Keeps calling about some "Coleman". I wish they would stop!

Consider a call blocking phone.

Calling myself and family members upsetting them. Needs to stop

Received a call from this number stating that they had a complaint filed against me. When I questioned what the complaint was all they could say is that I took out a personal loan for $590 and that I can avoid court by paying the full amount today. The caller stated that all she needed was the last four digits of my credit card. Here is the real kicker, when the caller was trying to locate "my account" instead of her asking what my social security number was she started to rattle off a bunch of different social security numbers of other people with my same first and last name. I stopped her and asked her if she was seriously given me other people's social security number, she quickly hung up. I called back and as soon as I stated my name she hung up again.

Pay no attention to the call or the message even if they have your name correct.  This is an on-going scam trying to get you to call back.  Do not.  Block the number in your phone-Good Luck.

Getting calls every other day for the past month - Mark Wallace looking for some with the same last name as ours. If we know whereabouts of this individual to notify him immediately. Seems like these losers keep coming up with scams on a daily basis

I have been getting these same type of calls since 2009 when I had gone through being a victim of identity theft.. They have evolved from sweat shop call centers in India to now this Robo-voiced dude currently calling. They were hammering my phone and frightening me during the worst time of my life: While my father was in the Intensive Care Unit for 45 days due to a stroke and a subsequent sepsis infection. He died.
I have reported these calls to every agency, bureau and official office that there is and nothing has ever come of it. I still get these calls. They die off for a while, but then months later they start calling again. I block every number, since they change numbers after every call it seems.
Post as many links, and agencies that you like: MIKE WALLACE AND FRIENDS WILL NEVER GO AWAY. :(

I also received a call just now. Mark Wallace left me a voicemail stating I have a formal complaint against me. He also said that if anyone knows about my whereabouts, to call him back immediately and he is contacting the proper authorities. I was freaked out until I read these previous comments. I have a current school loan that I am up-to-date on and have no issues whatsoever. But it's amazing the spam that I'm getting since I finished school. I must be on a list for having a new loan and scammers are taking advantage of that. I'll be contacting the Federal Trade Commission and the Federal Communications Commission. What these guys are doing is illegal. Please report them and block their number!!
