Received the same call as everyone else today.   Mike Wallace asking for someone I've never even heard of,  and it was a woman's name.

answered and it took more than 5 seconds for the call to connect so i figured it's one of those unwanted calls

I hang up or let the phone ring after googling unknown number and unknown area codes .  I picked up the phone once and hung up in mid sentence of this Mike Wallace person.  The voice is garbled (hidden) so you know the call is fake.  I've never said more than hello...why even bother talking or waisting a moment...just don't pick up phone with caller i.d. these days.

doing it to me to..I don't like it either since I'm home during day when it occurs..used to be hang ups...now leaving message..I might call telephone company about it soon (Cable Company) to report it..if enough do the number will be blocked from use.

They called and said I took out a loan that I never paid back. They referred to an IP address at an address I lived at 13 years ago. They were trying to get my bank information.

I've received several calls from this number from  Mark Wallace asking for the whereabouts of "Sherrie  H.", threatening to turn her over to the authorities... I've received calls for this person from other numbers, I've been the sole owner of my phone number since the 90"s.

The firm's outgoing voicemail message had cut off most of this robocall from 833-542-4893 by the time I picked up.  I only heard instructions for [name] to call 844-369-3851 and something about the authorities.  The individual specified doesn't work for this company.  Based on what I've read elsewhere, this could also be a scam.

I received a call today from Mark Wallace with the same message a formal complaint, contacting the authorities if he doesn't receive a call back and info about my friend whom I called to let her know of this weird call, her response "if he has your number surely he has mine why didn't he just call me" exactly! We are so aware of these bogus phone calls, text messages and emails but apparently some folk aren't and are falling for it and so they continue.

Same threatening call from "Mark Wallace".  However, when I DID call the number back, it said I won a Walmart Gift Card!  I asked Kevin why I was left this number as a legal threat and he said the number just changed.  I said in the last 30 seconds??  He kept asking for my name so he could send me my reward, and I ended up hanging up on him...
