My daughter got this call Friday. Supposedly I had a warrant out for my arrest. When I called them back, I refused to give them any numbers. The caller said she would just say I refused to give information. Folks I have made myself sick about this all weekend.

I hope you are clear that this is a phony debt scam. You were right to not give them any information at all. Remember, a voice on the phone or a voice mail is NOT Legal Notice of a Debt.  
It is hard to say if they will try again - since you did not give in, they may just move to another victim. There is a chance they will keep trying if they think you can be threatened or harassed into paying what you do not owe.

Probably because they didn't know any different? It's not like they can't ALSO report it to the FTC once they find out that's what they should do.

Got same voicemail asking my son to call said they were from Barnes and associates I goggled them and reported as scam

I just got the same call. Definitely got my blood pressure up wondering what the heck are they talking about.

They said their name was Adams, Barnes and Associates. They added another name.

I did.  They claim to be located in Washington but the address is a virtual office.  They are not registered in any state under that name and I doubt that they have a Washington debt collection license.  Read the other posts since everything else you need to know has already been posted multiple times.

They left me a message that I owed them $10,000 Dollars from back in 2007. What a fricking Scam!

Same as above. Called left vm for my sister to call them back by 4/4/22. I giggled bc today is 4/6/22 and they left that today.

Been getting these calls for about a year now. All visual GM. Same as above. Every time I block the number and they call from a different one. Every call tells me to call different numbers and the case number is sometimes different.  Claiming they sent a letter to my last know address on file. If they were so intent to contact someone why not Google them and get the current address. That is what made me believe it to be a scam. Googled the number Angelica called from and it came up with someone else from the caller. 904-312-7519.

they called my ex husband mind you we have been divorced for over 10 yrs. stating there was a civil suit against me...the number I had to call was 8668840543. Then they called one of my sisters with this nonsense.

I have gotten the same call for 2 different people that we know. They have called several times. I usually don't have my phone on so they leave a voicemail.

Barnes & Assoc left a voice mail from 877-792-1567. Isabel Duncan was her name on the msg stating I had a civil complaint filed against me for a debt from 2009 from Wells Fargo. I have NEVER had any type of account from WF. I spoke to 'Andrew' who said Sawyer Acquisition was attempting to collect a debt. I told him there was no debt to collect! I also stated that they can take me to court bc they have no grounds to sue a turnip and they can bite my @$$. Besides that the statue of limitat6ions is well passed the date of the debt. IF THERE WAS A DEBT. Gawd I hate these scammers!!! I'm p*ssed and I'll fight them with all I have. Enough!!

Barnes and Associates called me, my husband and my daughter looking for me under my maiden name which I haven’t used in 20 years-said they will take action with my local court if I don’t call them back! Phone number was 888-688-0312

I had the same experience from Barnes and Associates at a different number (888-688-0312).  They stated that I owed over 3K from 2006 to Citibank and that now with interest and legal fees it would be over 11K.  I told them I have never had a Citibank card and have not receive the letter that they claimed to have sent.  They also claimed this the issue had gone through seven collection agencies first.  I informed them that I will be getting a lawyer if needed and then asked for them to send me some form of documentation.  They proceeded to hang up on me.
