I am asking that you no longer call this phone number as it is not owned by me but a company I work for. Please provide me with an email address so that I can contact your company via my personal email address.

Oh dear God - do you think anyone from American Medical or whomever they choose to name themselves, reads this message board?  This is a forum to report scammers/spammers - so other folks can check to see if the numbers that show on their caller i.d. are legit or bogus. Whether to answer the call or just block it.
My dear - you are in for a lambasting from the regular posters on this board who are far more knowledgeable than I could ever hope to be!  Hope you have thick skin!  You will need it!

Like you, I've been with Anthem. I've been getting calls from this number weekly, but I've muted the number (thanks to Truecaller, an app I HIGHLY recommend) and don't pick up.

Previously called on 5/26, also called 5/31 and 6/1, "Not Provided" on caller ID. It may be a legit collection agency--I did get a letter from AMCA with a similar phone number, but have never gotten a business letter printed on an inkjet printer--it got wet and smudged. I'll pay who I owe directly

Looks like they are located in Western New York, worlds #1 capital for criminals pretending to be debt collectors,   That letter should have contained this or else it violated Federal law:

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) postmarked within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

So you need to do this:

You need to send them a certified, return receipt debt validation, cease and desist calling, or "not me" letter (think of it as the best $6.47 you ever invested).  You also need to report them to the proper agencies to which I have provided links to.  Then you need to go out and get a consumer lawyer to sue them on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket) and let them pay you for the harassment.  If everyone did these three things, these crooks would be bankrupt and we would all be the richer for it.  Use these web sites to find an attorney in your state:  http://www.consumeradvocates.org/

Do what I do---pick up the receiver and hang up on them. Retrieval Masters has been hounding me for years over a lab that my doctor, knowing full well that I was indigent, outsourced to LabCorp. I did not have the money yesterday, don't have it today and won't have it tomorrow. I am ready to yell into the phone the next time they call to get it from the doctor who sent it to their clients. If they don't like it, they can take me to court. And--good luck with that, for I am judgement-proof.

    Tired of this B.S....

I receive calls daily from this # i decided to finally answer, big mistake I had a LabCorp bill of $11.40 that my Medicare didn't pay..however i paid it a year ago and these fools were trying to get me to pay for it again..they were clearly in India and I could barely understand him when I told him I paid it and to not call me again he started screaming at me so I hung up and blocked the number..

I received a call from 844-505-3328 on my cell phone on June 25, at 3:35pm In looking at records, they also called the same day at 10:33 a.m. Another call was logged on June 21st at 10:17 a.m. No messages were ever left. OUt of curiosity, I Googled it  (June 26) and found that it is a collection agency. I have no debts. It could be a lab bill that I'm dealing with my parents' insurance that is unresolved, but my last contact with the representative said that he would handle it.

Using the information provided on Page 4 of this thread:
