calls there to four times a day. on message how the hell are these people. want to stop! this.

I've been getting calls from them for months on my cell. I never answer numbers I don't know. They never leave messages. I finally started answering and, as soon as I pick up the phone, they hang up.

I recently called back and received the same auto "please hold" prerecorded message by a woman with a British accent as others have described. A woman picked up and said it was "American Medical".

I do have outstanding medical debt, but these calls in no way resemble the actual debt collector calls I have received from legitimate companies that currently hold my debt.

Ahh haa! Medicare determined that the bloodwork i had at Labcorp was just routine testing. They denied payment. So those [***] must  be calling for Labcorp.

Called at 10:40 am...didn't recognize the number so I didn't pick up. No message left. Also, a significant number of recent posts are nothing more than immature argumentation and personal opinions which are totally irrelevant to to the issue of the telephone calls. Who polices the comments?

Pay your bills they say....sadly even when we attempt to pay our bills (mostly medical), the bill is sent to collections almost immediately. It's hopeless. So why bother paying? If we try to pay and its still not good enough and we are punished, I would rather be punished than to fork over thousands of dollars and barely be able to put food on the table. I'm not a lowlife, I'm not scum, but there's a major issue with the "system" that targets everyone, not just the lowlifes.

Debt collector calls my phone 3 times a day so I finally answer, now before you say racist, pay your bills or some other know it all response, debt isn't even in my name so I asked where they got my number I was told they can't give me that information. No. The less it's my cell they're calling.

Same as Vanguard Financial. Debt collectors. They immediately call you after first number on another number with caller ID saying Vanguard.

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

I called this number a few times to see who they are and what they want. Claimed I owe money to some company. When I had ask them for the name of this supposed company they refused to answer. I told them I needed proof, they again refused to do so. So, any company calling making a claim as such is required by law to provide written proof from the original debtor with name of company, date of the original debt from start to the date the account was closed, the amount of the debt. Also they were very difficult to understand, meaning they were from some other country. Two times I was unable to answer my cell when they called, upon attempting to callback, I received a message stating the. Number is no in service. Please check the number and try again. For you people making your comments aboutothers not paying their bills on time, we'll take a leap not every one is a dead beat and not paying their bills. These companies have be doing this where they are scamming Americans outof millions of dollars claiming they owe money when in fact son such account ever existed. Know your facts before you put a label like that on someone.

THis number is calling me every day and hanging up without leaving a message.  When I do call they do not identify themselves. How do I stop them from calling?

Mine is for Lab Corp also. The reason I gave them no information is because they were bargaining with me about the payoff amount.

+18445053328. Constant pestering calls. They ask for random names and have foreign accents. Requested numerous times to stop the calls.

How do you know if you are part of the breach? I received a call from this company and they seemed suspicious. .they were trying to collect on a debt that I had absolutely no knowledge about. .I pay all of my medical bills..I had anthem blue cross blue shield in 2005 -2008... I called this company back and they give you zero info not even the name and never leave a voice mail just 2 min of silence. .please help I don't know what to do....

I just received a call from them saying I had 2 bill of $50 due from Quest Diagnostics. Which I do use a doctors office through them. They had all my info. Name and address. I asked them mail me my bills and he said he couldn't but could take my card info. Just so happens that my best friends mom works for Quest Diagnostics and she said it's a total scam and that her company would give the option of mailing the bills to my house.

I like to answer and tell them that I am in the process of filing for bankruptcy, then request a mailed statement from them with my account info etc as well as their full contact information. Now suddenly they get all tongue tied. As far as the dude with "get your [***] together and pay your bills", if you [***] banks weren't posting multi Billion Dollar profits each year and taking our tax money for your bailouts, maybe it wouldn't feel like your're trying to [***] the little man every single day of our lives. I wouldn't piss on a bank if it was on fire.

This number continuously call and has a + in front of number and will not stop calling.

I have no idea who these folks are. They called for the first time yesterday and I picked up and no one was there. They called again this morning and I blocked the number.
