Scammers, say they are from the Royal Bank asking for banking info to give me a better deal on services. I called my Branch manager and was told to not give out information as she was not aware of any current telephone soliciting.

They called very poor quality connection and they hung up

This number called me and I could hear a call center, but she didn't have her microphone turned on so I could only hear very faintly.  Then she clicked in and said she was from Jexel on behalf of RBC selling a protection plan and then she started asking me questions starting with marital status.  I told her I wasn't interested in providing personal info to someone who called when I can't verify who they are - RBC already has my marital status and all my other information.  She was asking why I wouldn't give her my info, told her not interest - goodbye and have a nice day.

Same.  I answered and heard caller hang up

this is a persistent every other day caller from a toll free number. NEVER LEAVES A MESSAGE. Shady. Scammer

Received a call selling RBC protection insurance fromantic a very heavy accented person.  When told we have already there was a long pause then he hung up.   Scam.

Called me a few a weeks ago trying to sell me an insurance package on behalf of RBC. I said that I wasn't interested at the time, and they were okay with that. However, only about two weeks later, I'm getting calls DAILY while I am at work from the same number. I immediately swipe to ignore the call, but they don't seem to be taking the hint.

Folks, they are calling from a telecommunications company from downtown Montreal to sell insurance on behalf of RBC. Just a hint, telemarketers almost never leaves a voice message.

Received a call. Called RBC and they flagged it for me. This is NOT a legitimate RBC number. The caller is not North American. I blocked them on my phone. They call every day, several times a day.

I checked with RBC and that number 844-818-0619 is not an RBC authorized number for anything, particularly for insurance plans.  The bank did something to my profile to stop unwanted calls but this is a pure scam and getting you on the phone is a way to get your account or credit card numbers.   The manager was actually not aware this was happening so RBC needs to be told and the number passed onto them and maybe the local police.  They call me at least once a day and when I see the number on my call display I do not answer but none the less the call is very annoying and has to stop.

Has been calling me every single $*!&#!*$ day (sometimes 2x/day!)  since July 28th!!!

Some one called from this number, then he/she hung up without saying a word after 1 minute

Not RBC at all. Good to say you'd go into the branch. Anybody calling from RBC has an available callback number .

I missed a call made at 11:29am from 1-844-818-0619. When I called the number, it message claims that its from something sounding like Jexel Telecom on behalf of Royal Bank about insurance. I thought it was a spamming call and I have on interest either.

Called about the RRA Insurance. Was 90% sure it was a scam, but now I'm completely sure. It was a lady speaking, very forceful. She said I'd have to pay 100$ per day. She said her name was Rita.

I received a call from them tonight at 7 and immediately after i hung up i came here to report it for others! I also have been in touch with my local police department and also reported the number to RBC. Best thing you can do is block the number. Also, i said hello calmly and then the man on the other end yelled in my ear HELLO? jeez, i can tell your fake already, could hear all the chatter from other scammers in the background. I don't know how they got my phone number because the number they called me on was not provided to RBC. Very shady.
