Claimed to be rbc selling insurance. Rbc will never call you and ask for your personal information over the phone. It is a scam.

I wonder if this scam is the same one offered to Scotia Bank customers.

This is Fake! Fraud at its finest! Can’t believe it’s still going on and the police haven’t investigated.

Theyve called me several times over the past few weeks.. finally answered and it was a guy with a thick brown accent. Told him I was on my way to work and he said okay another time... he didnt even hang up for a good 10 seconds. I could hear background chatter, definitely suspicious.

Multiple calls over the last month or two. Never answer, they never leave a message.

He got mad at me when I told him that this didn’t benefit me. The first question was on my martial status!!! He’s like, you didn’t even listen to the benefits. Completely rude.

I have received at least 11 calls from this number. I never answer. This time I called the number to see what would happen. I got "Pour le service en francais presse le 2" and then a series of beeps and disconnected.

Answered and heardvoices in background. I said hello multiple times and then hung up when no one answered. They called back 2 more times. I didn't answer as it seemed agrees I've manor for a bank. After investigating it's a scam. Number blocked.

I called the rbc numbet behind my  and i found out that this phone number are frauders. RBC were thankful that i didnt give any of my informations to the caller. They asked me to give them the  for them to do an investigation. I was also requested to block the number and to never give any informations to anyone unless it is the real bank calling. They gave me a list of phone numbera that the real rbc uses so i could make a difference between them and fake calls.

They just called me saying the insurance stuff then asked my marital status I said single an then they just hung up

20171206 7 pm   My remarks are as shown above.  When I refused to answer about marital status the woman said it was a poor connection and she would have to call back.   I'm still waiting with baited breath!!

I was getting calls from this number almost every day. When I googled it, this page came up. So when they called me back, I picked up and told them I worked for RBC (not true). I don't think anyone has ever hung up on me so fast.

This number keeps calling me. I know there trying to sell insurance in the name of the Royal Bank. The're annoying. How can we have them stop

Someone claiming they’re trying to sell insurance, but they ask all questions about info that RBC already should have had, complete scam. Dont answer the questions. Hang up the damn phone!!!!!!!
