When I got this call I looked online and RBC did tweet that the number IS theirs. So no, it isn't a scam. It is RBC trying to get you to get insurance.

Said calling from rbc. Started with I need a few information to provide the best service. I hung up right then.

this number called me everyday. she told me call from RBC and began to ask me if I'm married or single. She said she wants to provide me a good offer..... continue to asking me my personal infos.

I answered the phone and said hi and they hung up on me. I wouldn't have answered but I'm expecting a call from a business. Don't answer this number.

Legit RBC callers respect the do not call lists, and furthermore they have better ways of selling new insurance than by robo telemarketing.

Calls saying they are RBC - may I speak to xyz...  IMHO its a scam...

Called just before noon. I answered. Male finally said "hi"; I said "hello"; we repeated this; he hung up.

Insurance telemarketing claimed to work on behalf of RBC, the poor English made me uneasy,

must be scam  no legit company will call at 5:54 am or 10.15 pm

Just constantly calling never leaving a message to say why they're calling. I won't answer or call a number back that I don't know or won't leave a message. I don't wish to buy insurance with them if that's what they're selling. I have insurance and it's cheap. Please stop all calls thank you.

They call every other day..ring few seconds and hang up.Special service thing which is not available in Branch.

This is a persistent caller who calls sometime within a few minutes apart to every half hour.
I’m suspecting it’s  a scammer/ phishing for personal information with a RBC insurance fake identifier.

Started the conversation by saying he hoped I had a good day in (the city and province I live) with my baby.. was immediately sketched out. Then asked if I was single or married, a Canadian citizen, and between the ages of 18 and 79.. I wouldn't answer and said I want to go in to speak with someone but he kept saying he wouldnt ask any more personal questions if I would just answer those ones.. sketchy.

try to sell some on behave of rbc bank, double checked with the bank the number. Bank confirmed that is not one of their numbers
