I received the same call as well moments ago. I knew immediately that it was a scam call. I just simply hung up

Same caller.  I am getting a voice mail from them every ten to fifteen minutes, non-stop, even though I have blocked them.  I am getting harassed and I would love to get enough people and file a class action suit against them.

Similar experience to what others have reported.  The calls come from various spoofed numbers often prefixed with then area code where the recipient is located.  But the 844 number you are told to call seems to be the same.  Can't find a legitimate business behind the 844 number.  Must be a scam.  Do not return the call.  It only tells the scammer that your number is legit.

Annoying because it is affecting my business phone.

Car warranty scam

Got a call about extending car warranty. I don’t even own a car.

Received a call about extending my cars warranty. I do not own a car. Do not pick up as they are a scam and are in search of active phone numbers to harass.

This number is still doing the rounds, it's now September and they still calling with the same bulls..t.....   I'm on a do not call register and don't have a car......WTF.....and of course I'm going to call them back to restart my warranty...
Please....get a job......

they called me from this number: 970-233-4405 from Colorado. They left the same message to call 844-989-1708.
Be careful guys.

Getting calls to call this number to remove myself from this calling list and how my car warranty is about to expire for the past few months.

Robocall left voice mail: "... extended warranty. Since we have not gotten a response, we are giving you a final courtesy call before we close out your file. Press 1 to speak to a someone about extending or reinstating your car's warranty. Press 2 to be removed to be put on our do not call list. Again, press 1 to speak to warranty specialist."

Just a remember message with no meaning. Assuming it is a robo call or about a boogus credit card/car warranty sales.
