Its an annoying spam call

Received a robocall today; because the incoming message started when my answering machine picked up the call, I missed the first part but the latter half of the message (including that burst of letters and #s at the end of the message) is identical to that reported by cec85213 on 31 Jul 2020. I don't have caller ID so don't have the (alleged) calling phone # for this call (not that I'd believe it). Will not be calling back as I have no desire to extend the warranty on my car (real or imagined) so will not be calling back.

Voicemail caught this mid-message... "Your car's warranty, press on to speak with a specialist. 844-989-1708".  The caller ID was (928) 223-8705 Flagstaff, AZ

Scam scam scam!!! Uses spoofed number. Block the call do not answer and do not press any numbers. They are mining for live phone numbers. If you press a number they will sell you number to other telemarketers and you will get more calls

Of course, it is a scam.  Called from 501-300-5601 with CID Unavailable and then have the stupidity to leave 844-989-1708 to call and remove.  Yea, that is going to happen dimwits, nitwits, morons, stupid, dumb@sses, nincompoops.  Every time we block one POS, 25 are now waking up from their POS graves.  Hell will be too good for these POS where they can rot and burn.

Didn't answer unrecognized number - as always. Robocaller left message "final call before we close out your file blah blah blah." Left callback number 844-989-1708 and said I could call to get my number removed. Yeah, I'll get right on that. NOT.

Call supposedly came from 858-290-1868, Del Mar California, which is local to me, but after seeing all the different call originations I'm 100% sure it is spoofed and that this is a nationwide scam that spoofs a number in your local area code.

Call list press one to speak with someone about possibly extending or reinstating your cars warranty. Again press one to speak with specialist or call our 800 number at 84498917083239 RPG. I don’t have a car and they don’t know who I am. Scam Scam Beware this is a non registered phone number trying to portray they are Legit business. This is not true this is a fraudulent attempt to gather personal identity information and your money. Call and check on legit businesses but this a con to find out how fraudulent this is report to FBI and FTC.

Scam car warranty calls. "Final call" = I have 3 of them on my voicemail already. Faked the caller ID each time too.

I've had so many calls from spoofed numbers with exactly the same message as other commenters.  They all say to call 844-989-1708 regarding our warranty (which we don't have).  Sometimes we get as many as 5/6 per day.  I don't answer the calls.

This number is a scam. The company harasses me multiple times a week claiming they're going to terminate the extended warranty on my car. Guess what clowns, I purchased my car used in 2007 and there was no warranty.

Caller ID gave local number (954 787 9708) and said it was "Out of area".  Same car warranty message as many others have described, with the 844 number given at the end.

This was a spoofed number, scam call, for extending or renewing a car warranty we never had.  The number was spoofed to look like a local call.  The number in the v.m. was 844-989-1708.

Caller ID said 352-273-3011 , but gave 844-989-1708 as the callback number. Car warranty scam.

Call appears to have originated from outside the U.S.
My voice mail says the call came from:  011 541 2292392, call back number within the message is 844-989-1708.  Completely bogus, of course, because it something about extending or reinstating vehicle warranty.

Call came through on my cell, Identified as from Lancaster, PA.  Didn't recognize the number so declined.  They left a voicemail telling me that I had been added for coverage (car warranty), and to press #2 or call 844-989-1708 if I wanted to be put on their "DO NOT CALL" list.  Had never registered for this service.  Searched the call on my call monitoring app and came back with a SPAM result.  Deleted voice mail and blocked the number.

Spoofed callee ID to a local number 775-227-9927... non working. Then left their Robo message on the machine for extensive of a supposed car warranty - we don’t have...This is a red flag to begin with changing the number.  If they were legit, why spoof another number?
