Received call at work & on my cell. Left message. Called back & all it did was ring. He said he was Matthew, with American Coradius. I saw online that they are a debt collection company but it does not list the company. Not sure what company is collecting for, anyone else know? There are so many collection scams anymore that I am leery to agree to anything and am not sure that the caller is the same as the company since I have had similar name collection scams before.

American Coradius International (they also give website and case number) usually they call in the morning looking for my daughter (they know full name). We investigated and concluded that this is a SCAM trying to get money. Also calling two to three times a day from (703) 879-7177  supposedly IRS, a big SCAM as well!!! Persons answering (with a thick accent) with American first and last names barely speak english. IRS will send you letters and then you have to call them up. DO NOT call this numbers!!!!  BIG SCAM!!!!  Pass this information to family members as well as your friends.

American Coradius they are a collection company. Call all the time and it's a robot message to contact them. I ignore.

Calls at least twice a day. Leaves message. American Coriadus. Gives a case number and name of a person that doesn't live here. Annoying but we simply do not answer calls we don't know so I just erase their robot message twice a day.

Called, Left message, Robo female voice, Heavy Britt accent asking for my wife by name "not real clear at that" said to return call to 8552245193 using a case number, or go to our web site "ACIBILLPAY.COM" and enter case code and last 4 of my wife's social. Not going to happen.

I have received call at work from this number . THE MESSAGE SAYS TO CALL THIS NUMBER ,THEY DO NOT SAY WHO THEY ARE REPRESENTING OR WHO THE MONEY IS OWED TO..NOT SURE IF THEY ARE LEGITIMATE

This number has called my house several time asking for my son.  My husband finally called the number back and told them our son didn't owe anyone and that he was going to call the police.  Whoever answered hung up.

Said they were looking for a specific name (which every other debt collector for the past three years is looking for and calling us about) but they never explain what the problem is. We never return calls if we don't recognize the number or get a message from someone we don't know. I'm about ready to discontinue our phone service and go back to the Pony Express.

Well known debt scammers.  They can't legally tell you what the call is about since they don't know who you are, and they want to keep up appearances that they are a "legit" organization.  This outfit has been popping up the last couple of days, let me see what I have on them.

You need to send them a certified, return receipt debt validation, cease and desist calling, or "not me" letter (think of it as the best $6.47 you ever invested).  Also send it first class mail in case no one will sign for it.  Make a notation of that fact at the bottom of the letter.  You also need to report them to the proper agencies to which I have provided links to.  Then you need to go out and get a consumer lawyer to sue them on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket) and let them pay you for the harassment.  If everyone did these three things, these crooks would be bankrupt and we would all be the richer for it.  Use these web sites to find an attorney in your state that will probably take the case on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket up front):  http://www.consumeradvocates.org/

It is incumbent upon them under the law to prove that the debt exists and that you owe it, and that they have the legal right to collect it.  You are not obligated under the law to prove that you don’t owe or that it is paid.  

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) postmarked within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

This number continues to call almost everyday.

855-224-5193 has called my land line twice now.  Blocked robo call.  It would be nice if these scammers could be stopped.

855-224-5193 has called my land line 6 times now in the last 21 days.  Thank goodness for robo blockers as my robo blocker catches their calls every time.  Sounds like they are scammers anyway,  wish they would stop.
