I have been getting Robocalls like this for three years. Every call I hope it is the last but it never is. I feel like they are going to call me for the rest of my life over a nonexistent payday loan I never applied for. When will it stop.

Called saying there was a formal complaint against my husband.  Calls several times a day, same call as everyone else is getting.  I blocked the number, but I’m sure they’ll call from a similar number tomorrow. SCAM

Same thing as other people here. John Lewis looking to someone name "so and so" and if i had any info about the whereabouts of this person, to call the number provided and they will contact the authorities. Called me twice....

This message is so funny. If there is truely a complaint against you, they do not call and tell you and give you a heads up . Also the message is so poorly done. A lot of pauses as he is reading his script. This message has scam written all over it. Block and do not call back. SCAM!

Calling looking for my whereabouts or will contact authorities. Complete scam. Will block number and never return calls. Will let family know scam if they get called.

Received message looking for my whereabouts and if I don’t call back with notify authorities. Is this for real?  No it is a scam. I have received messages like this before from many different numbers.

They've called several times, but the line is dead. They dont say anything

Keep calling at on times 2 am 5 am 1 pm, my phone is pre paid.... I want to put a stop to the calls any idea?

Same "John Lewis" left 2 voicemails also said "formal complaint" against my husband's ex wife and asked me to call that # if I know if her whereabouts.  We're not on bad terms, but we're not bffs either.  Second time I've gotten shady calls, and I will warn her about this.  SCARY!!

Received same message as everyone else looking for me and will cal authorities. I have reported to both the FTC and FCC. I encourage everyone to do this. Something needs to be done to stop these low lives from contacting innocent people. I have no idea how they ever got my name and my family’s names and phone numbers. This scam needs to stop and I will do what ever I ca to make it stop. So frustrating because I have never applied nor received a payday loan.

fine. See if the same message over and over again and when I call I always get voicemail and it wants my social security number and the rest of my personal information

I just got that same message this evening. What ever happened in your situation did you call them back.

Message wanting to know my whereabouts. Thanks for everyone’s post. I know it is a scam. It is sad these scammers are at this around the holidays. I followed other posters advice and just filed complaints with the FTC and FCC. Hopefully it will do some good.

There's no need to call these scammers back. Just block and ignore such calls.

Caller identified himself as John Lewis.  Said he was calling in regards to a phone complaint against me.  Said if I Had any info of my whereabouts to contact him ASAP and that he would contact the authorities. TOTAL SCAM!!!

855 303 5660, call saying that a formal complaint was filed against  xxx and to call back. The next step would be going to the authorities.

I spoke with my local sheriff's department and they informed me there is nothing they can do.
