Scam! They called me wanting to know my whereabouts or they are going to report me to the local authorities. I work in a public place its not hard to find me.

NOT PROVIDED called: said his name was John Lewis and a complaint filed against garbled name (probably on purpose) and to call him to avoid the proper authorities being contacted.  Wouldn't HE be a "proper authority" if this were true?  Did not answer. Obvious SCAM!

The is so funny. Claims I took out a payday loan in 2012 with a bank account that has been closed since 2007. Can you say scam!

Just called. Wanting to know my whereabouts. I see I am not the only one this is happening to. I wonder if these scammers check the internet and see what is being said about them. If they did it would seem like the would stop because everyone is on to their game. Scam!

They called john lewis calling for me about a phone complaint that was filed against me. if you have any iformations about the werabouts plese contact the office immeditaly there next step will notify the proper authorites

Yep, I did that. I got a notice from my state's Attorney General that the information has been noted, but do not expect a reply lol!

Received call 855-303-5660. Caller said John moose. Calling for info to notify proper authorities.  No name of co. SCAM!!!!

This gentleman called and said he was trying to reach me in regards to a report that had been filed against my husband.  Definitely a scam.

Caller stated his name was John Moose. Someone had filed a formal complaint against (named person). Call back to report known location so they can inform proper authorities regarding whereabouts.

I actually called the number back and told them that I have reported them to the proper authorities (FCC and FTC) for attempting to scam me out of money. The person (Mark was his name) said that’s a 3rd degree felony for saying that the company he works for is a scam. What a joke these idiots are!

Called asking for the where abouts of some I don't know. Said would be turned over to the authorities.

This number has been calling my spouse and my son in law.   Veiled threat about contacting proper authorities. Said his name is John Lewis.  Voice is garbled/muffled as though trying to disguise it.   No company name given.

Keep receiving messages looking for me or the next step is to contact the authorities. This such a scam. I will block number and not return call.

Received recorded message that who ever this is they are looking for me or their next step is to contact the authorities. The message is so poorly done. I hope nobody takes this call serious and gives these low lives money. These losers need to get a real job.

Tired of these losers calling me. I have never applied for a payday loan. Not sure how they got my information or my families phone numbers. Something needs to be done. Filed complaints with FCC and FTC. Don’t know how much that will help but will try anything to get th she losers to stop calling me and my family.

Definitely a scam.. they called me asking for my brother, when I called back to ask what kind of “ formal complaint” they were handling, they hung up on me

I have been getting these types of phone calls for the last 5 years. Nothing has ever happened to me and I have never received anything in the mail. I know it is a scam but it is so frustrating when they start calling my family and work. They used to just call my cell phone but now they have started calling my husband family and work. So frustrating that these low lives are able to do this.

Just received my second call from “John Lewis”. My new neighbor is a lawyer and I had him listen to the message. He just laughed and said this message is against the law to robo call your cell phone. He said you will not be able to do anything because they will never give out their physical address. He told me just to ignore the calls and tell my family this is a scam.
