They are calling other family members! They called me about my mom!

The caller left a voicemail sating if I didn't call him back they will report me to the authorities

My wife and I just got a call from them claiming that they have filed a complaint against me and threatening to go to local authorities.. I am going to call the police about a file a complaint to this number

the call was from 855 303 5660

The police can not really do anything BUT your state attorney general can. about calls like this.

I jot got that SAME exact message. I sent the call to vm bc it's an 800 number. It sounded like he was out of breath and my name was said by an automated voice. after i called back to see what this was about, I hung up on the person I spoke with because they told me it was a payday loan, which I have never in my life taken out. I was getting these type calls about a year ago, until I told them I would get a lawer if they didnt stop calling me

My experience is the same as everyone else. My husband got a voicemail from a man who said “Hello my name is John Lewis I’m calling today in regards to a formal complaint that has been filed against (insert my name in a bot voice) If you have any information as to the whereabouts of (insert my name in a bot voice) contact our office immediately at 855-303-5660. The next step will be to notify the proper authorities.”
My husband suffers from severe anxiety and he’s a little naïve so this actually scared him pretty bad. He called me in a panic not knowing what to do. Of course I knew from what he said it was a scam then after hearing the message and googling the number it was a no brainer. Some people are a lot more trusting though and my husband not having me to call would’ve called them back and the next thing would’ve been them asking for money to settle the matter. These kinds of things need to be shut down. It’s disgusting! We will be reporting this to the authorities.

I got the same call but the name is someone different. Asking for Ashley Williams.

A complaint against a family member.

caller called my dad asking about my where abouts. stated he would be contacting authorities if I didn't call him back. computer inserted my name on the voicemail.

I just received a call from a John Lewis just now saying he's looking for me.I called the number back.no answer so it's a scam people.Do not answer this call.Then he call my sister looking for my mom which she been dead 4 years.So I guess I will give him the address to the cemetery and let him talk to her there.Because he should know my mom been dead.Idiot

Called my mom with the same story... Looking for my sister that passed away a few years ago... Definitely a SCAM. There is a call blocker technology that can be used to block these calls

Best product I have ever bought will block all unwanted numbers to your land line so you don't have to deal with these people. They are terrible...

Just called a left a message on my vm looking for my sister stating he was John Lewis and will file with proper authorities.

They are. Selling me as well.  Sad.  I have no idea who they are looking for.  My voice mailbox is full

Got a call from 855-303-5660. John Lewis claims they have a complaint against me.  SCAM!  They also called my sister (different last name, and my mother, different last name) Not sure how they got my family's info.

A recorded message was left saying charges had been brought up against me and to call them or they would have no chose but to contact authorities.

They called my family looking for me. What can we do, besides ignore?

A friend just got this exact same call.  They had also called her family members.

My ex husband and mother have both gotten calls about some phone complaint against me so yes they call relatives.

I got a call from this number and so did my mom with a deep voice saying something about a formal complaint and that they would notify the proper authorities....this is a scam
