Got a robo-call from John Lewis, said phone complaint was filed against- computer inserted name which had my maiden name, call back this number or proper authorities will be contacted.

Garbled and threatening robocall. Must be a fraud.

I got a call from this number. They left a message saying it was John Lewis and that a complaint had been filed against Delante Williams. Am not this person nor do I know anyone by that name. It was a computer generated message. If they really want to find these people they should make the calls in person.

Threating call sounds like scam and bully.  tape says John Lewis calling about some Julie Tanksley ??  I've had this number for 12 years so this is sure a FAKE.

Scam wanting me to contact them about family member having a formal complaint issued against them

Called me asking about my wife but used her maiden name. What a joke. I hope these Mf get caught.

Received call (voicemail left ) after I was told by ex-husband the night before had contacted him searching for me. Said his name was John Lewis and did state there was a formal complaint for my name in a computer generated voice. I don't even have speeding tickets, so when the threat of "proper authorities" was used I knew it was fraudulent.  Clearly this is an intimidation attempt and should not be taken seriously. Trust me if the authorities want you, they'll find you in a matter of seconds.

The DNC list only applies to telemarketers and only legitimate ones follow it. Debt collectors aren't selling anything so it doesn't apply to them. And scammers such as these simply ignore it.

This guys been blowing up my phone I've never received 1800 numbers on my cell so I never answered but never left a message...  Then calls my mom and leaves one! Same exact line as everyone else was saying! Has anyone actually tried to contact back. I'd like to lol but ill be reporting them asap

I got the call and called back out of curiosity.  they told me I had taken out a payday loan on a closed account and that I am going to be arrested.  It is definitely a scam because I have not taken out a pay day loan EVER and have had the same account for years.  I told them I knew it was a scam and that they need to take me off of their call list because I was not going to fall for it.  The lady said okay goodluck in court and hung up. lol

Garbled robocall message from 'John Lewis' about a complaint against (computer-generated voice here) 'Teresa Murray'.

Called 11/17/17 - Hard to understand but made out that it was a John Lewis looking for someone named Vanessa Allen. I have no idea who that is but the call ended with him saying the next step will be to contact the proper authorities. Guessing it's a scam or collection agency. Good luck Vanessa! LOL. Would not answer.

SCAM. Recorded message. John Lewis. Complaint filed against my wife. Wife's name was in a computer voice and they used her maiden name. Said they will contact the "proper authorities". Bwahahahaha!

Same call as the others. No clue who the person is that computer voice says. Next time I will hit * and # over and over. If it's a computer it will kick your number out as another computer trying to gain access.

Message leads into legal action but doesnt specify exactly what is meant.

I called it back,an same guy that left messages answered. I told him to stop calling this number. He asked me if i knew a Shanon Jones.i told him no and he is calling from Kansas.he said sorry for your inconvenience, then hung up.

Man named John Lewis and asked if person answering phone knows me to call them back or else they were going to file a formal complaint against me and file paperwork with the proper authorities. It was a pre-recorded voice and another computerized voice that recited my name.
