Same old bull on lower your interest. Last time I spoke to some one. Told weed wacker. That do you take Amex. He said visa and mastercard. Told him I use a Amex so hacker like you can't scam.

Offering to lower interest rate to 0%.  All they need to verify is your expiration date and 16 digit card number.  I kept this Pakistani on the phone for 36 minutes.  He provided me his name (Steve Smith) works for card services and the last four of his ss# are 2318.  I was kind enough to provide my name (Joan Davis) and that I work for card services  and the last 4 of my ss# are 9468.  Geez guess I am legitimate now a well.  Reporting to local authorities and FBI.  Must be Obama's friends trying to be helpful to our country.  Geez!  Thanks.

The longer you keep him on the line, the longer your access is open.

Person called saying they had monitored my credit card usage and they could offer me a lower rate.  When I asked what card they monitored they said they needed to verify my personal information to confirm I was the correct person.  When I asked again for the card number they repeated the same story.  I told them I would need the card number to confirm it was mine.  He said he couldn't give it to me since he couldn't trust I was the card holder.  When I replied I didn't trust him either they hung up

Called, left no message, saw these reports, added to call blocker.

Dam, middle eastern calling. Due to your paying on time you qualify no interest. Well, I ask Muhammad, if I am paying on time and pay off my balance every month there is no interest charge. Beside, I am the infidel that has been in your country.

Same number - New Scam. Now they are from a credit monitoring agency. Their recorded messages says that they have been monitoring your credit for the past six months and because it is excellent they can offer you a zero interest credit card. Stay online to be connected to a customer service representative or press 3 if you have already taken advantage of this offer or if you are not interested. I pressed 3 and the message was "stay on the line for the next available agent". Now why would I stay on the line if I wasn't interested in the offer or had already taken advantage of it? Well, I stayed anyway just to see what was going on because I knew it was a fraud (if they monitored my credit cards they would know that I NEVER carry a balance and have no use for a new card even with zero interest since I never have to pay interest). Well, more recording, "all agents are currently busy but stay on the line" .... so I simply lay the phone down in front of my computer speakers, turn the volume up and ignore them - then hang up. It's a scam ... they want you to give them your credit card information.

Just a pleasant lady on a recording stating that she could lower the interest rate on all my cards to zero. After pressing "1" I was connected to a gentleman with a strong Indian accent. I played along and answered his questions with totally bogus information. (Card type, Zip Code, Card Expiration, last 4 digits of SS#, Card Number, Telephone.) I was then transferred to a "manager" with a slightly less thick accent. After a while, he said he couldn't validate my card and asked if I had another one. Then he hung up.

Called our unanswered spam line at 10:14 AM MST this Morning. These criminals must have tapped out the computer scam market so moved on to credit card thieves.  They can't have monitored my credit card usage since we only use AE.  "800 Services" has called me with 4 different phone numbers and called yesterday with a 1-800-460-9706. Must be no honor in the criminal work now that India or Pakistan thieves have joined the world of "800 Services". lol

Did not answer and they left a message.....Congratulations - They have been monitoring my credit card for the last 6 months and I am "qualified to get zero percent interest on all my credit card accounts"
I pay them off each month and do not pay any interest already.....    New spiel however.....

Totally different scam, but from the same number.  Offering lower interest rates on my credit cards.

New spin on middle eastern credit card scam

855-309-0298 is a filthy criminal scammer of the worst kind. They prey on unsuspecting computer users, trying to steel confidential info, under the guise of selling / installing a virus removal tool.
Do not give them access to your computer. If they are will to call telephone numbers on the do not call list, what other laws are they willing to violate.

Looks like they are rolling out a new scam  I just got a call from this number claiming I have won a prize for paying my credit card bills on time. Yeah except I don't have any credit cards.

Caller id was TOLL FREE CALL.  Was blocked by the roboguy

Received call from "toll free call" at 1:50 pm today.  Since screwing with these a$$holes has become a hobby of mine I answered the hone.  Was a recorded message that said they were from Visa Master Card and sine we had perfect credit the would lower our credit card interest rate to zero on all of credit cards.  I pressed one to talk to counselor, when he came on I said I wanted to lower our rate on all the cards, then I said please hold there is someone at the door, I went in the kitchen and poured coffee for my wife and I.  I came back and he was still on the phone and I talked to him when he asked for our credit card information,  I said I need to go get my wallet in our den and it was down stairs please hold, then I left the room went out side and got the paper, came back in and he was still there,  he asked if I had my credit cards, I told him yes and he asked for the numbers, I gave him the first four numbers of my closed Amex card account then added the telephone number that showed when the scammer called,  he said that was not enough numbers so I added the last two digits of the year of my first girls friends year of birth.  He was happy then asked for the security code, then I yelled Helen what the hell just happened to the kids, then loudly dropped the phone and drank my coffee, after about ten minutes I picked up the phone and got the tone to hang up the phone.  Made my day.  Going to have to work on my game for a little more variety.

Judging by the dates of all the recent posts this number is rampant---Sorry to read some got scammed---All unknown numberfs go to my FAX machine I no longer have an answering machine
