- It's a virusI don't answer calls from numbers I don't know. I put the number in my search engine on my pc and this number came up with several links on how to remove a virus from this number!!! Block it from your phone and spread the word! From what I read on another website... if you answer, it installs a virus pop-up and the caller charges you $350+ to uninstall it! The person that submitted this was a victim and fell for it.

- Chas replies to sTarsGreat job sTars!! I do this stuff too. I love Craigslist types that want to send me a check for 1000 for a 500 item and want the rest back or for shipping. I let them send the check!! They all have sent it USPS or FedEx, and they paid $6 to mail it to me! I made them pay!! Then I keep the check as Frigerator decoration. I know they are all fake checks, but they paid $6 to mail them.

- RJ replies to vrcsJust received a call from this number offering to lower my current Visa/Mastercard rate to 6% or lower, I asked who he was, what CC he was referring to and in his best Eastern Indian Accent he responded with: "we represent Chase, B Of A and others".....when I asked for his phone number and which card he was calling about he hung up.
- NightcrawlerCaller with heavy accent (Middle East ?) said he could give me 0% credit card interest for life and all he needed was my credit card #. SCAM I asked for web site and he said cardserviceca.com, also a SCAM

- GeorgeNew take on an old credit card scam. Robocalls from credit card "reward center."
- ScowWmA robo call came in today using the spoofed number 855-309-0298. The recording said that they had been monitoring my credit card activity for the last 6 months. I was congratulated for my excellent payment history and told that I had been selected to receive an interest rate as low as 3%. I pressed 1 and was connected to a man with a very thick middle-eastern accent who claimed that he represented all bank credit card accounts. This "bank representative" claimed that he already knew who I was, but I would first need to verify my identity by giving him some personal information. Yeah, right! (Another call came in earlier today using the exact same recording, but the spoofed number was 234.) This is the old Rachel bank card scam, freshened up with some new twists. Let's hope that anti robo call legislation soon becomes a reality.
