I did not answer and it left no message. However, when the number was googled, it is associated with the pop-up virus warnings and offers to repair. PLEASE REPORT..SEE BELOW.
   If you dont recognize the name/number, DO NOT ANSWER. If you happen to answer, DO NOT RESPOND IN ANY WAY; NOT BY VOICE, SELECTED NUMBER OR CALL BACK! If it is in the form of text or email, DO NOT SELECT A LINK. After all, they are scammers and you dont really know what you answered or consented to do, give or buy, for which your number may be billed.
    And don't waste your time with cute answers...there's no satisfaction and they don't care. They just move on to irritate or hook the next sucker. The longer you keep them on the line, the longer your access is open.
    SCAMMING AND PHISHING ONLY WORKS IF THERE IS A MARKET (target, sucker). They are bottom feeders that have no limits, conscience,  mothers, or legislation (DNC) except you.
    You can file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission for any and all unwanted and/or unsolicited calls (cell or land-line), texts, scams, phishing, ID theft, and others at www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/Information#crnt
   A legitimate caller will be identified, will leave a name, message, and call back number, giving you the option to respond. It will respect the DNC.
   All the TV stations and Internet providers should run programs at prime times about scams and how to recognize,  report and deal with them. That would be a public service of public interest...and hopefully, make these scammers into real losers.

These criminals have called so many times that I have memorized their number.
We have the entire 855 area code blocked for at least a year and their call was blocked BEFORE they robodialed our number.
Please NEVER answer unknown telephone calls.  Purchase a call blocking telephone or a call blocking device - they work and they are expensive.

Called my cell.  I usually don't answer a number that's not in my contacts, but it looked similar to a company I do business with.  Robo call.  Said they could lower my credit card interest to 0%.  I hung up.

Received a call. No one there. I get 3 or 4 calls per day from these various scammers - they're likely all related. Some of them are purely and viciously evil with the language they use if you challenge them. They are criminals who want to steal whatever they can.

I keep getting calls from this number and I NEVER answer them but they do leave me a recording that says;  "call our department 413-356-3256 immediately, again that is department 413-356-3256" and then they hang up.  I will not call them back and I will never answer the call...but I think it's kind of funny that they are calling from a 855 number but want me to call a 413 number

Credit card scam. I can get 0% interest on all my credit cards

My call log shows five calls from this number within one minutes time.
No problem with my computer. I suppose they wanted to tell me I had a virus or something.
I use McAfee WebAdvisor and urlcheck addons for Firefox to warm me of malicious websites.

Called my cell and left no call back.  5 pages of cr@p on 800notes.com is enough for me to BLOCK THAT SCUM!

Answered phone after other prompts said press 3 to remove from call list . Other end started talking told them #3 was to remove from call list. He started to get upset & loud. Hung up.

Card Holder services now. Message only, said that they have been monitoring my account for 6 months and blah blah blah, ended call there.

3 calls this month and all blocked.  Caller id TOLL FREE CALL.

They hate it when you waste their time. It is time they can't spend looking for or scamming a victim.

I got the pop up version of this from something while on the CNN website, or it could have been Fox. Either way, it was task manager and out because the "X" to close the window can be the same link as "accept" and then you are too late.

If there is any crime that should get the death penalty, this might be it.  I know, maybe it's extreme, but when they take a computer down, it's personal finances, medical records, work records..... it's as impactful as stealing a cowboy's horse was in the Old West.

I let the call go to voice mail, and they didn't leave one. That tells me all I need to know. It's now blocked. Reading these other experiences validated I skipped a jerk.
