- Tired old man| 2 repliesJust received a call from this number. Lifted handset from phone and put it back down. Seems to get me out of the system as I haven't received any repeat calls from the same numbers AND my spam calls have become few and far between. I do this with all unrecognized numbers. Maybe it gets rid of them maybe not but the calls have diminished
- Poster replies to Tired old manI will have to try that. Thanks.

- shergot 2 calls in succession from this number. no message. called the number back - Guess what - The number is not in service. So it is a fake number... I still don't know how people can change their caller ID, except on a fax machine.

- Ratt replies to Cindy| 1 replyWhen you hit 3 (or whatever) to be removed, all you did was verify that yours is a working number. These scammers have no intention of removing numbers and aren't scared of threats. They are most likely in India or some other far away place. Picking up and quickly hanging up may help get your number off of lists but there are literally thousands of lists floating around. I enjoy sometimes getting a live person on the line and messing with them but it does nothing to get my number off the list.
- Anyone replies to CindyThere's no point in talking to scammers, and calling back can result in more calls. Consider using a call blocker. Ignoring and blocking these calls will REDUCE them OVER TIME. I have done this and it works.
- We BLOCK replies to Tired old manPickup and hangup helps, scammers don't need to hear voicemail confirming a working number. Be sure to BLOCK as well!
