I've received two different calls from them now and they're leaving urgent messages for Stephen Davis. I do not know a Stephen Davis which is why I didn't call them back the first time. I thought it was a wrong number. But, due to the 855 area code, I'm hesitant to call them back in case it's a scam.

I got a call today from them threating legal action. First their number comes up unknown on the caller Id And then they leave that message. First of all they are not allowed to leave any type of threatening messages.  I just took a collections class for work and the message itself violated so many parts of the collection laws it was ridiculous. I am saving the message and will be handing it over to my attorney.  They will be the one paying for a debt they didn't even identify in the call.

I already have a payment agreement, they keep assuming I am a Mister.. But I am a Misses...lol

"Monica" called and frightened my elderly mother in a message for someone else. When Mother told her they had the wrong number and not to call anymore, the lady began asking if she knew so in so, another name not hers. Mother told her she doesn't want whatever they are selling and hung up. I am angry they upset Mother.

Got a call for my deceased father in law.

message received today  from above #  (caller id says "anonymous"). Message is for a person I have never heard of. Caller says he is "Specialist Felix" and needs to hear back today "while there are still options available to you" or "will be forced to make a decision that will directly affect you"   I believe I remember receiving a similarly worded message for the same person several times more than a year ago.  I will not be returning this call.

They are Comenity  Bank. I have a credit card through them, they are not a debt collector.

Looking for some other person and threaten to taking action against person or rep.
Do NOT call back, they are just trying to get you to call back to capture your number for telemarketing.
WHY ELSE LEAVE CALL BACK NUMBER AND HIDE THEIR CALLER ID? Smells like s#&t and probably is $h#+!

Yes, just incase everyone was wondering who is at this number 855-334-4198 it is COMENITY BANK they have accounts with Venus, HSN, and Buckle. I set up a payment plan with them and they have all of my personal info.  I thought it was not necessary to continue to come across as threatening . A ladie named Christina left a nasty threatening message on my husbands phone.....so uncalled for. if I didn't want to take care of this matter than I would not have called them back. Do not call me again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They left message regarding urgent legal action for someone - the message is clear until he garbled the name of the institution he was calling from.

I received a call from this number after speaking with community and setting up a hardship payment plan. the guy threatened me via my voicemail and I would rather not call back since I have already made arrangements. I would like for this to quit please.

Well then I would think that your efforts would be better spent communicating that wish to them.

I agree but the lady at commenity advised me that the collection calls would stop now that I am enrolled in the hardship program.

Did you set up your payment plan with the REAL Comenity Bank?
Was "the lady" from the REAL Comenity Bank?
Did you make any promises to somebody at this 855 number, or did you make all your agreements with the REAL Comenity Bank?
Have you logged into your Comenity Bank account to see if there is anything amiss?
Why do you think the caller with this 855 number really represents Comenity?  This 855 number is not the 1-855-506-2496 number shown on their site.

They called my house today and the lady was extremely rude to my husband. When I called back, she was looking for my ex mother in law. I mean 29 years ago ex. I live 750 miles from them. The woman couldn't even explain how she got my number, she flat refused. I got snippy right back with her and she yelled I DON'T APPRECIATE YOUR TONE OR ATTITUDE. I asked if she had lost her mind. She hung up on me.

1st time: I got a call the guy asked for my brother in law. I explained to him I was not who he was looking for but he kept saying it was very important that he speak with him, or his attorney,TODAY. Said he was with Comenity Bank for GameStop. Hung up without leaving a name or call back number.
2nd time: called asking for brother in law again. Explained to him I was his BIL and he asked could I forward his info to him because it was a very. Important. Matter. Asked what it was about and said by law he wasn't allowed to say. When I asked again he said I had been listed as a reference and could leave a message with me. I asked who he was calling for and he only said Comenity Bank. Call back number was different from the number listed on caller id.

A call from Tiffany Spence that sounds threatening about a "matter". She said I must call immediately to resolve the matter before she makes "recommendations".  This call was for another person whom I know. I do not owe anyone any money.  I don't know how she got my number, or if the other person gave the phone number to them.  Gave an extension number and a deadline to call.

Someone from this number called me at WORK! AT MY JOB, which happens to be a Fire Department!!!  I have no idea how they got this number.
