This number called family members claiming to be Reuben. They were asked to refer me to this number to deal with a "matter in office."  When pressed the claim to be from Comenity Bank. I contacted Comenity at the number they list on their website (1-800-675-5685). I spoke to a representative who confirmed that there is no account in my name nor delinquent accounts. If it is a debt collection service they are not collecting for Comenity as they claim. I did not call back. If you end up calling back make sure to confirm and validate the debt they are trying to collect.

If this is a third party debt collector, the law requires them to do that, not you.

I had 4 calls come in at the same time from Commenity Bank and managed to get 2 on hold for over 5 minutes.  They told me this was a "personal business matter" so my reply was they need call the person on a personal number. Gretchen X1265169, Tyler X1266240.  Will contact attorney general if they call back again.

Same as everyone else except person claimed to be a special agent with Commenity and demanded I respond to them or they will take it to the next level of action.  Claimed he was recording the message to prove he has made contact.  Already have a lawyer dealing with this.

I received a call and a guy left a message claiming to be Special Agent Sean and that a personal matter has came to his office, that if I don't call by 6pm eastern he will have no choice but to escalate this matter further."  He didn't even identify himself as being with any creditor, just that his title is Special Agent.

They called my cell phone from a private number and left a very ominous message to my daughter like others have described.  Their return number is 855-334-4198 ext 1226398.   I called, the "specialist" (probably a $12 an hr tatted dropout) asked for my daughter's contact info.   I went ballistic on him and ripped into him.  Blocked his number.  When you call the machine says "Comenity" but who knows.

I have received multiple calls from random 614-754-xxxx numbers over the past week. Today they finally left a message saying I should call back at the number above. I think this is a total scam, they do not know my name and I have received weird text messages about opening credit cards that I haven't actually opened. Don't fall for it.

They called me asking for my ex sis law, that my name and number was given as a reference and that's not true. I dont speak to that family and my # is less than a month old. They left an extention # under lashaunda at 1266 332. She asked for my ss#. Didnt give it. She also refused to tell me who her source was for obtaining my cell#. No weird foreign accent so I wasnt sure if it was legit but once they asked for my ss#. I reported them, had my carrier report them they are now blocked.

This is Comenity Bank.  Blocking their number won't do you any good.  They have used around 50 different numbers to phone me.  sometimes, 4 times a day for 5 months now to collect on an HSN past due account.  Their latest brilliant idea is to phone your neighbors daily to harass them in to getting you to pay your bill.  I guess they use computers or the dark web or some thing to illegally get their numbers.  They are Sleezy slimy dogs!

They've called twice this week, both different numbers but same extension, claiming to be from Comenity Bank. I have a Victoria's Secret credit card but ALL payments have been made on time since I've opened it through Victoria's Secret, they have no reason to be calling me. Both calls leave voicemail saying "important business matter" and that it requires "immediate action". They can't even get my first name right! These calls are getting annoying, and as of what I've been seeing from other people's experiences with these calls from them, they need to be stopped.

They keep calling asking for my sister in law that lives in another state.  I finally cussed them out when I called them back.  They call me on a restricted number and then say their number in the voicemail, along with repeating themselves over and over talking about "taking matters in their own hands".

"Ms. Wilson" left this number as her call back, along with ext. 1226485, and this number did not match call number (which looking online was associated with Comenity bank).  I did not answer or call her back.  She left a long voicemail saying there was an "urgent matter that has been escalated". A "Mr. Cunningham" left a long rude voice mail saying the same thing.  I just spent 30 minutes cancelling a credit card which is from Comenity.  They assured me I have a $0 balance and I am not in collections.  Not sure if this is a scam or what, but I will continue to not answer the call.
