This outfit (commity Capital Bank) has been leaving voice messages on my cell number several times a month for way over a year now.  They leave rather threatening messages for a Brittney Whampler regarding an "Ideal Image" account. There are lots of calls from other numbers about this woman.  I have had my number for years.  That person has never used my phone.   I don't know who she is.   If this was a legit issue, and a real bank, after all this time, they would have found out this is the wrong number.  I think it may be a scam of some kind, so I have never answered.

Unless,it’s a hologram fake ibm,called to say my computer,and I pad is infected with virus,don’t use call us first the Nazis have taken over,microsoft ft,apple during world two,Nazis invented the computer a huge one!

They have been calling my phone looking for someone who I have no clue they told me they were going to remove my number and not call well hell now they are calling my husbands phone while he at work saying this person needs to call them before they get the police and the law involved like seriously you people said you would leave me alone !!! Go find the person your looking for because it not me !!  They call from dever Colorado but give an 855 number to call back  a mr. Trulo

They're scammers. They don't care if they have the wrong number. Just block them  and save yourself some grief.

I keep getting calls from this number, and I answered once and explained that I'm not the girl they're calling for, and that they have the wrong number. Then they proceeded to check their records and said they weren't sending calls to my number. "How can that be if I just picked up a call from you?" "We're not sending calls to that number". Okay, fine. But I might mess with them a bit

They keep calling me from different numbers so I block them, and now they're calling from a private line

Received a call from this number looking for my sister.  ID'd themselves as Comenity Bank.  Claimed they got my number from my sister as a 'reference'.

Caller displayed 999-111-0001, left a message asking if I have a legal representative, and suggested to me to call back (855) 334-4198 x1266287 if I don't have legal representation. Very vague on what the issue was, only to say if I don't call back, they will assume I don't have any intention to settle the issue (???what issue???), and will advise the bank (presumably Comenity Bank) to take further action. They had been calling me daily for months with different numbers, either with robo calls or apparently live persons. Have never told me what the real issue was. It definitely is a scam since I don't have anything to do with this bank.

Scam or Negative Debt Collectors.  Frightened my elderly father with threats about a debt he does not owe and never had.  They Data Mine names and phone numbers looking for anyone who they think knows the person they are actually looking for or seeking.

They left a message and I don't have any outstanding credit card debts. They also called from 614-754-4060 but says to call a 855-334-4198. I see everyone is saying it is for credit card debt. Is this a scam?

As was previously posted, this call seems to be coming from Comenity Bank which is easily found on the internet.  As was also previously posted, you should be contacting them at either a known, published number or by certified, return receipt mail.

They keep calling sayin I’m (*******)a different family member. They say they’re Comenity Bank and threaten legal action moving forward with or without me ! Got no idea and that family member has no idea ! They won’t talk to me and to be quite honest we’re afraid to call back with all the scams going on.

I was told by my mom that some so called twitt called and ask for me and she was very rude getting her upset I refuse to have this type of conversation to somebody that do not know how to talk to people she made her repeat a number that she left. Like  my mom was dumb or illiterate. If she call back again I have a few choice words for her it a way to hold conversations with people name was Melissa Ext1265070 . She didn't say what company she represent I assume Comnity Bnk

They call using an unknown number asking for Carolyn Furgension and there is nobody in my house by that name. I received about 10 calls from them.  They don't mention any company name

Called threatening my daughter who does not live here. I do not know how they got my number as it is unlisted.

They harass and call up to once an hour for 12 hours a day.  Didnt leave voicemails at first and now have gone after extended family claiming I need a lawyer and they going to sue me.  Yeah in the midst of bankruptcy and my attorney has advised me to ignore them as I am in the process.  Loved they called my estranged father and stepmother to harass them which makes me wonder how the hell they got a hold of them given i dont even have those numbers or any contact.  Best part is number has been blocked they will call with another similar number one digit off.  I have never seen anything in writing from this company which if they were going to sue would be required to do only nasty phone calls.

received a call from 855-334-4198. it came up as unknown which i refuse to answer. my first thought is that it is a scam, no mention of what company he is works for. Mr. Alan said it is an urgent business matter that escalated to his office. if i don't call i am ignoring this matter. the number i was given to call is 855-334-4198 extension 1266355.

It’s a scam. Don’t give them any info. A true debt collection agency wouldn’t use harassing tactics. They would work with you. Even the IRS works out payment plans and doesn’t use scare tactics. They are just trying to scare people into giving them personal info so they can take money or identity. Be firm with them and call them out.

Call all the time. Sometimes I can answer and there no e there. Call at work. Won't work any payment arrangements  out very hostile and rude when they called me at work.
